The incumbent is a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Headquarters Senior Staff Acquisitions Program Manager in the Acquisitions Management Directorate.
Incumbent is an Agency acquisition program manager responsible for implementing and managing a variety of programs that shape and support the Agency's overall Supplier Relationship Management Program.
Responsible for programs, policies, plans, systems, and procedures in support of one or more of the following: Enterprise Acquisition Metrics, Strategic Material Sourcing, Performance Based Logistics, Life Cycle Logistics, and/or Strategic Alliances.
Serves as an advisor to DLA senior leaders, as well as OSD, the Military Departments, and Industry on unusually difficult and highly controversial aspects of problems and improvement projects associated with Acquisition Programs.
Provides Program advice and guidance in the form of overarching policies to DLA's internal and external customers.
Responsible for Programs involving areas of acquisition management dealing with: personnel; budgets; multiple accounting disciplines including financial, systems, and management (cost) accounting;
Cont'd: management and leadership theories, techniques, and disciplines; organizational structuring; productivity enhancement and government reinvention principles.
Responsible for the resource and budget of Programs; budget, cost/workload analysis, activity based costing, manpower and organization structure planning, policy, reporting and management of various Programs.

Leads validation of continuity controls (NIST Special Publication 800-53 rev 4, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations, Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM)...
(cont.) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Continuity Planning controls) for reaccreditation and for annual reviews.
Conducts an annual review of multiple ISCP (Information Systems Contingency Plans) and DRM (Disaster Recovery Manual) using a cross-organizational and/or interagency teams.
Schedules, plans and oversees annual exercises of multiple ISCP and DR procedures to ensure personnel are properly trained and procedures are effective.
Participates in the IT Crisis Management Team (CMT) led by the DLA Chief Information Officer responsible for evaluating situational information and deciding whether to declare a COOP event and activate the ISCP plan.
