- Serves as a public affairs specialist in the Internal Communication Branch for DOD agency focused on providing cyber, information technology, and communications support to the military services, national level leaders, and federal partners.
- Develops plans and campaigns to disseminate information to internal stakeholders on DISA’s programs, projects, policies, events and initiatives.
- Evaluates problems encountered in communicating to internal stakeholders and advises on and recommends specific communication activities designed to meet these problems.
- Demonstrates strong writing, editing, oral communication, knowledge management skills and editorial judgement to develop campaign materials including feature articles, evaluating the most appropriate channel.
- Applies a substantial knowledge of communication and plain language principals to create clear, accurate and accessible messages for audiences with diverse interests and backgrounds.
- Writes, designs and manages content for internal digital newsletter and CCTV, ensuring consistent brand identity.
