Cleared ICT is partnering with a renowned global professional services company, and we are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Management Practitioner with a minimum Baseline security clearance. This permanent position & can be based in Canberra or Melbourne and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of IT service management. About the Role: As a Service Management Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in transforming how IT services are delivered to the business, ensuring service excellence. Your expertise will support the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, bringing both technology and business benefits to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
Design, deliver, and support service management processes, architecture, and technologies.
Leverage skills in service management strategy, operating model, process maturity assessment, and roadmap definition for process and tool implementation.
Focus on delivering solutions including Service Management Architecture and Planning, Service Optimisation, Service Integration and Management, and ITIL process assessment, design, and implementation.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in service management transformation consulting and delivery.
Experience in service management process design and implementation.
Knowledge of service management operating model design and implementation.
Familiarity with service management tool strategy, architecture, design, and implementation.
Experience or knowledge in software asset management, service management automation, and AIOps.
Expertise in service operations review and stabilisation.
Proficiency in service integration and management (SIAM) operating model, process design, and tool implementation.
Experience or knowledge of service catalogue design and implementation.
Experience or knowledge of service desk transformation and service delivery.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualifications.
Experience with service management toolsets such as ServiceNow, BMC, Splunk, JIRA, SolarWinds.
Ability to articulate design, operational, and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to express complex concepts, issues, and ideas in proposals, presentations, documentation, operating models, and process designs.
Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
Experience with ITIL-oriented tools - service desk, change, availability, and/or monitoring.
Knowledge of Cloud FinOps, Cloud Bill Analysis, and Cost Optimisation.
Preferred candidates will have relevant industry or technology certifications: ITIL4, SRE, COBIT, ServiceNow, BMC, and Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and conflicting priorities.
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a relevant Defence security clearance (NV1 preferred).
Australian citizenship is required for eligibility for an Australian Government security clearance.
