An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 – Care and Support Waking Nights within our Children’s Safe Accommodation provision in Ceredigion. These roles will work on a rota cover day and night shifts supporting the needs of the service. We are looking to recruit a cleaner to undertake various cleaning responsibilities at Ysgol Dyffryn Aeron to ensure that the school is kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

The Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Ceredigion. The purpose of the role is to complete cleaning tasks to a high standard, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

We are currently recruiting 1x 31.5 hour Level 2 Care and Support Workers to join Min y Môr Residential Care Home, Aberaeron on a Permanent basis. Previous experience of working in a care home is not essential as full training will be given. As long as you have kindness, patience, respect and resilience – the rest we can teach you!

About the role:
No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. As a general guide, your day-to-day duties may include:
- providing total care to clients according to daily routine as outlined in care plans
- providing emotional support and reassurance to clients, particularly when they need to adjust to change/and or family crisis
- administering prescribed medication, including controlled drugs, in line with policy and procedure
- escorting clients out of the establishment, e.g. leisure trips
- completing daily records
- undertaking cleaning, laundry and dining room service

We have a vacancy within our Street Works Team for a Street Works Technician The post is a permanent contract based at Glanyrafon Depot, Aberystwyth or Penrhos Depot, Llandysul.

The post holder will be responsible for monitoring notices and issuing licences on the Street Works Management System as required by the New Roads and Street Works Act & Traffic Management Act 2004.

On a day-to-day basis you will:
- assess and review works notices received through the Electronic Transmission of Notices (EToN) system used by undertakers and their contractors
- assist in the delivery of business and customer service systems, delivering a high-quality service for customers and achieve legislative requirements
- monitor compliance/coordination activities to ensure targets and performance improvements are met

We are looking to recruit an individual who:
- is flexible and able to work under pressure
- has good ICT skills including Word, Excel (or equivalent) and other ICT packages
- has good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- has good knowledge of highway maintenance practice
