Responsibilities:
• Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure to be in line with SOP (standard operating procedure) in place.
• Defines customers’ needs and functionalities.
• Assists in the coordination of system related activities and evaluation of the implementation design.
• Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Implements warranty and support activities.
• Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical directions.
• Collaborates and manage various stakeholders to ensure high quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Anticipating & troubleshooting systems related issues
• Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
• Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for support where required
• Providing Level 2 and 3 support
• Provide system documentations and SOPs
Requirements:
•BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based or windows environments.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks ) is an added advantage
• Experience with automation software is an added advantage
• Experience with networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) is an added advantage
