Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct orientation and training sessions for security officers, ensuring their familiarity with appropriate security rules and procedures.
• Monitor work processes and performance, consistently striving for service excellence and upholding high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures, ensuring strict adherence across the organization.
• Provide support to the in-house security team, particularly in managing security for V/VIP events.
  Regularly inspect the night shift team to ensure operational readiness and compliance with established protocols.
• Oversee and manage security officers' coordination during emergency situations, ensuring a well-coordinated response.
• Lead and coordinate security operations, incidents, and investigations, while also preparing detailed reports for the same.
• Prepare and present comprehensive weekly security reports to the client during the scheduled meetings.
  Implement safety and health policies and procedures, safeguarding employees against potential workplace hazards.
• Collaborate and maintain effective communication with public law enforcement agencies and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
• Manage staff morale and provide counselling to underperforming team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Division Head to efficiently manage manpower, equipment, and resources, optimizing on-site team performance within allocated budgets.
• Undertake any other relevant tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the security operations.

Skills & Requirements

• Possess a Diploma/Degree from an accredited institution.
• Encouraging applications from individuals with a background as Commissioned Officers in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) or as Senior Officers from the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
• A proven track record of at least 3 years in a managerial or operational capacity that aligns with the role's responsibilities.
• Demonstrates a strong customer service orientation.
• Preferred possession of a Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority Certified Security Officer (PWM CSO) license.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements
• Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
• Deliver training across all business units to staff members who are involved in data handling or processing
• Conduct data protection impact assessment to ensure compliance and to address potential issues
• Ensure that company policies are in compliance with laws and regulations such as Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA), Privacy Act 1988 of Australia or GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
• Evaluate the existing data protection framework to identify areas of no or partial compliance, and rectify any issues
• Stay up to date with data protection laws and regulations and design and conduct training
• Provide data protection advice to staff members
• Inform and advise the data controller or data processor on all matters related to data protection
• Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the Certis Group

Requirements

• Understanding of data protection laws and related experience of Singapore or Australia. Good to have General Data Protection Regulation and IT knowledge.
• Has relevant degree in law with background in data protection/privacy and called to the Singapore bar or an Australian state bar.
• Has at least 3 years of relevant experience in data protection/privacy, well versed in IT security, terms and infrastructure.
• Ability to audit, manage and collaborate with people from multiple disciplines and cultures.
• Good drafting skills with experience drafting various types of agreements and managing the whole end-to-end process of data protection.
• Ability to prioritise, work effectively under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
