Job Description:
i. The staff will prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review the training programs for school students in alignment with school’s strategic plan and philosophy.
ii. The staff should be proficient in Google Workspace like Google Classroom, Docs, Sites and more, and the usage of iPad apps such as Procreate.
iii. The staff should be knowledgeable with productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and the use of different AI tools such as ChatGPT.
iv. The staff should be able to conduct ICT lessons on the use of the apps in Google Workspace, iPad applications such as Procreate, e-portfolio creation using Google Site, and MS Office for our students.
i. The staff will prepare teaching materials/resources, exercises, and projects for the students together with the teachers for the ALP curriculum on needs basis.
ii. The staff will assist to manage, survey, monitor, and evaluate the progress of ICT projects/assignments such as the National Digital Explorer (NDE) and Code For Fun (CFF) and AI programmes.
iii. The staff will assist in the execution of Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) in the school such as to conduct the training for students and student champions on use of their Personal Learning Devices (iPads), liaising and working closely with appointed supplier and resolving any device issues experienced by students.
iv. The staff will assist to promote good data management habits to staff and students such as regularly backing up data and data housekeeping.
v. The staff will provide administrative support for the ICT department.
vi. The staff will support the school in promoting the use of the Google Classroom, Google Calendar and Google Sites which includes conducting the required training for students.
vii. The staff will support the school in promoting the use of the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneDrive which includes conducting the required training for staff and students.
viii. The staff will work closely with teachers and providing advice/suggestions in software usage and other ICT related issues.
ix. The staff will train and support teachers and students on the use of the apps and software mentioned earlier for teaching and learning.
x. The staff will support teachers by providing videography support during lesson observations when needed, and creating videos for school events, staff training and sharing purposes.
xi. The staff will provide event coverage using photography/videography, as well as AVA support for school events.
xii. The staff will train student leaders and assist with managing and operating of AVA equipment as part of the AVA CCA.
The staff will assist in managing the school website.
Work Schedule:
- Monthly Salary: $2600/Month
- Contract Period: 2 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
- Location: Sembawang
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 7.20a.m – 4.50p.m. on Mondays – Fridays (1 hour lunchtime)
Job Requirement:
- Minimum diploma in the relevant discipline (IT and multimedia related)
- Ability to deliver training programs to secondary students & maintain classroom discipline
- Proficient in Google Workspace such as Google Sites, Google Classroom and Google Docs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive
- Proficient in emerging AI tools such as ChatGPT
- Proficient in iPad apps such as Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar and Reminders.
- Have basic Photography and Videography skills.
- Ability to provide training for staffs and students on the ICT software or apps listed.
