Job Summary:

Lead the Information Technology team to ensure efficient, secure, and legally compliant IT systems and support across the hotel, in alignment with COMO Hotels and Resorts' policies.

Tasks/ Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Implementation: Plan, implement, and manage the hotel’s IT systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure alignment with overall hotel objectives and COMO’s standards.
• Stakeholder Liaison & Systems Enhancement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their IT needs, evaluate existing systems, recommend enhancements, and provide regular progress reports.
• Security & Compliance:Perform regular testing, updating, and application of security patches. Ensure all IT operations comply with legal requirements and internal policies, including maintaining a robust disaster recovery plan.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects to address client department needs, including the creation of detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Technology Updates: Stay updated on the latest IT developments in both hardware and software. Attend user group meetings and report on emerging issues or opportunities.
• Policy & Procedure Management:Ensure IT system policies and procedures are current and comprehensive, with regular reviews and updates, especially regarding health and safety regulations.
• Communication: Communicate IT-related issues, changes, and updates to end-users via appropriate channels, including team meetings.
• User Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update user manuals for all hardware and software systems.
• Supplier & Contract Management:Collaborate with the Purchasing team to oversee supplier contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery.
• Team Training & Development:Provide ongoing training for IT team members and establish a realistic training schedule. Manage team performance through regular appraisals.
• Database Administration:Oversee the administration of multi-user databases, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Budget Management: Manage the IT department’s capital and revenue budgets in close collaboration with the Financial Controller.

Provides service for guests when arriving and departing from the hotel and to give guests information and directions in a prompt and professional manner.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests professionally and demonstrate a warm, confident and genuine first impression.
• Handles all guests’ queries or requests in a polite and efficient manner.
• Handles all movement of luggage (temporary, long term storage, lost baggage).
• Provides a high standard of service within the department and a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area.
• Knows about all events and activities accruing in and out of the hotel.
• Provides door service, entrance to hotel and driveway, to ensure a smooth traffic flow.
• Complies with all Front Office systems and procedures and with all company policies.
• Organizes a prompt TAXI service and assist in airport transferring.

Requirements

• Diploma in Hospitality is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years in Front Office or Concierge experience in a similar capacity preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Knowledgeable in the city, tours and excursions to refer the guests in various tourist destinations.
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance, servicing and ensure regular checks and servicing of: Fire alarm systems, EM LOCK and magnetic door systems,Guestroom lock systems ELsafe units, CCTV systems, Public announcement systems, Car park collection systems Panic and PWD button system.
• Oversee the loading and unloading bay, driveway, and basement car park to ensurenall.loading and unloading activities conpleted within time frame.
• Control and distribute complimentary car park tickets.
• Respond to various incidents during shift, ranging from security breaches to guestroom lock and ELsafe issues.
• Complete security incidents, accidents, and emergencies, prioritizing report by end of daily shift.
• Enforce security protocols and procedures to protect guests, colleagues and property.
• Manage access control systems, such as key card access, to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Prrform random bag check to all colleagues who exit the building.

Job Requirements

• 1 year experience as Security preferably within hotel industry.
• Possess a valid Police Licensing Regulatory Department Security Officer license.
• Service-oriented and positive working attitude.
• Willing to perform rotating shift work.

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining high standards of washing and finishing of all linen and guest laundry.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge of handling all the laundry equipment and chemicals used in the Laundry Room.
• Report any breakdown of equipment and ensure they are in working condition within the shortest time possible. Report to the supervisor any breakdown that cannot be rectified during a reasonable time limit that can affect the operation.
• Ensure hotel linen and employee uniforms are in good condition.
• Ensure sufficient linen is available for the day’s operation.
• Collect Guest laundry/Dry cleaning from rooms, cleaned and delivered according to the stipulated Standard operating Procedures.

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning and servicing of all hotel areas and complete the day’s work assigned to high standards.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Collection of computer printouts of occupancy status, arrival departure details and guest requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor/Assistant Housekeeper at the beginning of the shift.
• Clean rooms to the stipulated standards – prioritise your work based daily room status (monitor rooms checking out and communicate to linen runner).
• Complete all daily work sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that Guest laundry/Dry cleaning is collected from rooms and communicated.
• Work performance is in accordance to Leading Quality Assurance and COMO requirements.
• Ensure that guest keys from Departure rooms are taken to reception or handed over to supervisor.
• Ensure that items left behind by guests from departure rooms are handed in to the housekeeping office without delay and properly recorded.
• Clean and restock section pantries before going off duty.
• Unserved rooms: Inform Housekeeper before going off duty (Do Not Disturb/Refused Service rooms etc.).
• Refill cleaning materials from the pantry and ensure that cleaning bucket is fully stocked before service.
• Check and report standard of linen to guest rooms and return any damaged linen to the linen room.
• Report maintenance faults in guest rooms and hallways and ensure they are attended to without delay. Report to Supervisor any defect not rectified well and on time.
• Ensure all guest rooms supply of soap, amenities and other materials are sufficient and per COMO requirements.

• Represent the Financial Controller during his absence, ensuring continuity in financial operations.
