1. Support for Trips:

• Maintain up-to-date Risk Assessment documentation for trips.
• Entails the task of mapping, developing, and charting trekking routes during recce trips.
• Assist in administrative tasks, including participant registration, program documentation, and logistical coordination.
• Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and inventory management of outdoor equipment such as tents, trangia stoves, and more.
• Creating materials essential for camps and programs, including but not limited to trainer manuals, camp materials, and other related documents.

2. Facilitation:

• You will lead and oversee camps in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, as well as other overseas camping grounds.
• Act as Supervisor or Assessor for the International Duke of Edinburgh Award.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during activities, maintaining high-risk management standards.

3. Planning:

• Revise and oversee the camp planning calendar, logistics, itinerary coordination, and enlistment of proficient freelancers.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of Beyond Limits Expeditions systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.

4. Hiring:

• You will actively participate in the hiring and recruitment processes for our pool of freelancers.
• Active communication with freelancers to coordinate and manage their roles.
• Responsibility for ensuring trainers receive industry-standard training and adhere to safeguarding policies.
• Handling other necessary details related to freelancer management and engagement.

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel and stay abroad for extended durations.
• Candidates must have a background in leading outdoor education programs and should have managed at least 2 outdoor education awards, such as DOE, NYAA, or equivalent certifications.
• Completed recognised treks or achieved notable accomplishments.
• Experience in working with children and adults within the Outdoor Education industry.
• Degree or similar level qualification.
• Current Wilderness First Aid or recognised First Aid/CPR certification.
• Bronze Medallion Lifesaving Certificate or Water Safety Award.
• Previous Child Safeguarding training.
• Familiarity with Risk Management systems and best practices.
