What You’ll Do

• Manage project tasks including hardware and panel design, PLC and HMI programming, SCADA design, power distribution design, and all associated project documentation

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of ten years of experience in developing and providing automation solutions for the consumer products or industrial design industries
• Experience designing electrical control systems and programming automation systems for process applications
• Proficiency in Rockwell hardware and software solutions
• Experience with Siemens, Wonderware, and GE software/hardware (preferred)
• Experience in food & beverage, pulp & paper, or other industrial industries (preferred)
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors

What You’ll Do

• Create and submit well organized, high quality written estimates that account for project risks
• Prepare construction and installation estimates from feasibility studies, conceptual designs, preliminary designs, or detailed designs
• Review all project plans, specifications, take-offs, I&C, and documents to gain a full understanding of intended use of the estimate
• Collaborate with the design team and offer cost effective alternates
• Prepare cost estimates for small- and large-scale jobs
• Manage project from estimating/bidding, detailing, product purchasing, delivery, scheduling, installation, and construction administration
• Calculate the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overhead and profit, and presenting a final price
• Develop accurate labor and material costs with accurate quantity take-offs
• Maintain strong working relationships with the design team, sub-contractors, sub-consultants, OEMs, and suppliers
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional general contractors and end-users in multiple cities within the Central Region
• Coordinate with Design Group construction teams as required to maintain current cost data
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
• This role can be based out of our Fort Worth, Atlanta, Concord, or Sacramento offices and will require occasional travel for project visits or meetings.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years construction cost estimating experience focused on MEP estimating from conceptual stage through buyout
• Demonstrated knowledge of estimating practices and procedures utilizing estimating software
• Prior experience utilizing on-screen takeoff or bluebeam and estimating databases
• Strong understanding of CSI Estimating Format
• Prior experience in gathering and utilizing historical cost information as well as a network of trusted MEP subcontractors
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to understand project schedules
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects

The Payroll Manager is responsible for the execution and supervision of payroll processing and accountable for the timely and accurate completion of payroll. This role is a key liaison with 3rd party payroll service providers and functional groups involved in the execution of payroll such as divisional People Team generalists, divisional Finance and the HRIS team.  Train and mentor Payroll Specialists within the US FSC team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead quarterly and year-end tax filings, including W2 reconciliation and document distribution activities.
• Execute payroll processing for pay groups as assigned by the Global Payroll Director.  Ensure employee change events such as department changes, compensation changes, one-time payments, LOAs, terminations and garnishments are processed accurately within the specified timeframe.
• Ensure payroll error record keeping is completed and accurate.  Lead the effort to identify and address root causes for payroll errors and communicate as appropriate with divisional stakeholders.
• Maintain ongoing communications with divisional People Team generalists to ensure proper handling of necessary payroll changes.
• Supervise and review payroll processing for pay groups executed by US FSC payroll specialists under the role’s span of care and as assigned by the Global Payroll Director.  The Global Payroll Director is ultimately responsible for assigning pay groups to US FSC team members.
• Ensure existence and completeness of payroll processing documentation for pay groups processed by the US FSC.
• Assist in new team member on-boarding activities and train team members as required.  Assess and provide input to the Global Payroll Director regarding team member performance and compensation matters.
• Review and approve timecards and approve time off requests for non-exempt team members under the role’s span of care.
• Support the Global Payroll Director with providing coaching and mentorship to the US FSC team members under the role’s span of care.
• Partner with the People Team, benefits, divisional Finance, and operations stakeholders to continuously improve the alignment of systems, data flow, and interrelated processes.  Champion process improvement efforts within the US FSC team.
• Coordinate and direct activities related to the Ceridian implementation project and other special projects as they arise.
• Act as key liaison between FSC payroll team and the HRIS team to ensure that Ceridian, Workday, related integrations are designed, configured, operating in a way that supports accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Performs other related duties or projects as assigned by the Payroll Director.
• May work with government agencies, benefit providers, auditors and/or other BW staff to resolve problems and provide requested information.
• Coordinates, develops, and maintains written documentation regarding payroll procedures and processes necessary for reference and training materials.

• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• CPP certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Payroll processes involving multiple time keeping systems.

Supervisory/Responsibility:

Position currently supervises a team of 5 full-time direct reports who are individual contributors. Supervisory responsibilities may grow to include supervisors and or managers.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in a standard office setting working at a desk or table on a level surface.

Position Type:

As a Quality Engineering Co-Op at BW Papersystems, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Working closely with our Quality Engineering team, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of quality systems to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This position is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field to apply classroom knowledge to real-world manufacturing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Support:

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.

• Conduct inspections and testing of products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to identify areas for process improvement.

• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

Data Analysis:

• Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Generate reports and present findings to the Quality Engineering team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to address quality issues.

• Participate in project teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product development.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities.

• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an engineering program.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
