MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
•    Develop growth strategies for the whole China through managing the teams of LSS sales, key account management, equipment services, commercial excellence and customer services.
•    Drive LSS China Strategy to localize and expand LSS products portfolio and sales.
•    Create an enabling channel structure both in the commercial as well as the support the organization to help deliver the strategy.
•    Deliver on financial targets including sales revenue, margin, etc. by creating a planning, tracking and execution mechanisms for China.
•    Attract, hire, develop and retain the best possible talent ensuring that there is an outstanding group of employees. Build a strong leadership bench strength in this strategic market.
•    Create and drive channel manager to penetrate and engage both global and regional key accounts deployed in China. 
•    Leverage Avantor’s extensive portfolio of 7 million SKUs to penetrate key accounts and deliver end to end workflow support for China customers. 
•    Ensure that Avantor’s culture and values are embedded in the way we interact internally as well as with our various external stakeholders – customers, vendors, government, and community 
•    Deploy company vision, mission, and Avantor Business System in LSS business in China. 
•    Develop, train, manage and motivate our distribution channel on the combined portfolio. 
•    Foster an environment which stimulates open communication, creativity, imagination and creates team spirit that solves problems and builds the business. 
•    Other tasks assigned by the company

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

University graduate in Business/Chemical/Bioscience / Instrumentation / Engineering

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

·       Strong people and process management with a proven track record of growing sales, achieving targets, and developing leaders.

·       Solution selling, negotiations skills, managing major accounts.

·       Strong leadership skills.

·       Excellent communication skills both in Chinese and English. 

·       Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities. 

·       Goal Oriented with good organizational skills to achieve optimal results, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 

·       Willing to travel

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

•   Participate in in vitro assays to support drug discovery projects
•    Perform compound profiling and screen
•   Maintain an accurate and record all necessary information
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and comply with relevant SOPs
•   Evaluate and learn new assay technologies in drug discovery under the instruction of supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

•   Candidates should be studying the bachelor or master degree in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology or related fields.
•    Ability to understand assays and the relevance to the drug targets of interest.
• The ability to understand the design and to perform different types of assays.
• Basic understanding of biochemical, and cell-based assays
• Work schedule flexibility to accommodate the cell biology experimental constrains.
• Flexibility reporting to different supervisors to accommodate project needs.
• MS Office computer skill is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

• Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups
• Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional can-do attitude
• Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
• Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
• Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of VWR’s products and services
• Problem-solving skills
