NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR / SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR / NETWORK SPECIALIST / NETWORK ENGINEER / NETWORK ANALYST Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, the Information Systems Network Administrator is responsible for planning, deployment, maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure and communication systems throughout Redpath Australia projects and offices. About The Role: Design, plan and implement roadmap for regional network with IS Manager and Global Team; Manage, document, deploy and support IT projects; Keep Redpath network systems updated and protected from current and emerging threats; Deploy, troubleshoot and monitor data routing inside regional secure networks, global corporate routes and to external business services; Proactive hunt for vulnerabilities, performance issues, misconfigurations and system failures; Oversee the day-to-day operation of Redpath network infrastructure including hardware/software support, training and daily checks; Contribute to defining and documenting IT network policies and procedures; Contribute to team efforts for system recovery, incident response, training and other cyber initiatives; Diagnose and fix complex L3 incidents and problems; Comply with all IS department procedures; Meet financial requirements by submitting information for budgets and monitoring expenses; Report immediately any incidents, accidents or near misses; Protect Redpath's business value by keeping Redpath's information confidential; Strict adherence to the Redpath's Philosophy, guidelines for Success, Code of Conduct and Cardinal Rules; Contribute to the organisation's continued activities into technical development and strive for continuous improvement and innovative solutions; Ensure compliance with Redpath's Management Systems and the relevant statutory regulations; Any other duties that Redpath may direct you to perform, which you are capable of performing; Participate in global calls and meetings which will often fall out of hours; Occasional travel to remote sites and other office locations required; About You: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Information Systems; At least 5 years working experience in a network role or responsibility; Ideally has experience and knowledge of Cisco WLC, Watchguard, Windows Server, Linux, Ubiquiti systems, Zabbix, Teltonika networks and Telstra product and services; Must demonstrate strong knowledge of network fundamentals including VLANs, routing, Fiber and copper standards, remotely supporting networks; Demonstrated ability in keeping job knowledge current by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining professional networks, participating in professional organisations; Accurate with high attention to detail; Good customer relations management skills; Superior problem solving skills, innovation and adaptability; Strong safety, quality and customer focus; a safety approach in keeping with Redpath's principle Safety - First, Last and Always; About the Offer: Career paths through internal promotions Competitive salary package Salary continuous insurance & life insurance Salary Sacrifice for Superannuation and Novated car leasing Discounted health insurance with BUPA Business improvement and innovation rewards Employee Assistance Program #LI-NB1
