• Performs a full range of simple cooking tasks by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing
• Prepares convenience items, some cooks at this level prepare and bake pizza

• Serves as a curator for the Heritage Museum program at Ellsworth AFB.

• Responsible for developing and overseeing training plans and check lists for Museum and Air Park volunteers.
• Responsible for the continued growth and development of the Museum and Air Park.
• Maintains and manages the yearly budget for the Museum and Air Park.

• Performs Major Command (MAJCOM)-level inspector duties for formal inspections covering a wide array of nuclear and conventional operational mission and mission support tasks.
• Ensures MAJCOM, non-appropriated fund (NAF), and unit-level resource management policy and procedures guidance complies with existing laws, instructions, and regulations pertaining to operational and management (O&M) engineering involving maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of electrical circuits, equipment, and infrastructure systems with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
• Evaluates unit installations, repair, and maintenance of lightning protection systems, munitions/weapons storage area electrical systems and other large commercial and industrial electrical systems with complex problems and extensive repairs.
• Evaluates work related to construction management, design, and programming/base development functions for compliance with existing laws, instructions, and regulations.

The function of the organization is to provide lodging to transient personnel and their families. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of simple cleaning tasks associated with lodging operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains lodging facilities in an orderly and clean manner. Vacuum cleans rugs and draperies. Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using industrial type power equipment. Adjusts and changes buffers, brushes and other attachments on power equipment. Dusts, waxes, and polishes furniture. Dusts ledges and woodwork. Empties ash trays and wastebaskets. Polishes doorknobs and other metal fixtures. Cleans glass partitions, inside and outside windows, using stepladders and extension ladders. Cleans mirrors and water fountains. Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap. Reports water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance to supervisor. Maintains supply of cleaning materials and advises supervisor when more supplies are needed, or when equipment needs repair or replacement.
• Performs seasonal tasks as required, such as, applying ice control material to entrances of buildings, shoveling snow, picking up litter around buildings, mowing grass, and watering lawns around buildings.

• Cleans mirrors, sinks, and water fountains. Dusts ledges, woodwork, and furniture.
• Replaces room deodorizers.
• Restocks toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary sundry items.
• Notes condition of facilities and reports to supervisor broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance.
• Keeps a stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to do the work.
• Notifies supervisor when more materials are needed or when equipment needs repair or replacement.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position is developmental, and the incumbent will be noncompetitively promoted to the position of Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator, NF-1101-III grade level using SPG 70147 upon completion of the required training.

a. The position at this grade level is established to provide a means by which a new incumbent can become familiar with the organization and the duties assigned to this position. In this situation, the incumbent performs duties with minimal instruction from the supervisor. The incumbent uses judgment in selecting procedures, work methods and applicable regulations. Supervisor spot checks work on a regular basis to ensure work is completed correctly.
b. It is anticipated that as the incumbent acquires knowledge and experience, duties will be completed with increasing proficiency and independence. When the incumbent has demonstrated the ability to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities described in the basic position; the supervisor should initiate a request for a review of the position.
c. Qualifications at this grade level are: Must have progressively responsible work as a Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator at the grade level of a NF-1101-II. This is a position of trust and requires completion of a Tier One Background Investigation.

- Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads, and tests new and existing fire alarm systems, electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls located in and near installation buildings and structures.

Also applicants will be expected to perform heavy duty cleaning tasks such as ceilings, exhaust hoods, under and behind kitchen equipment, washes floors and walls, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, sanitizes garbage cans.
