Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Instructional Systems Specialist developing programs of instruction in occupational specialties or fields.

Duties:

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Child Development Center (CDC), ensuring the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represents the Child Development Center with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• In the absence of the Center Director, serves as the supervisor on duty.
• Responsible for the technical oversight of the Child Development Center's assistant and technician workers; providing them mentoring, training and instruction. The primary duties of this position include but are not limited to:

1. Conducts investigations of crimes and complaints covering a wide range of subjects and allegations that are not within the scope of Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), as determined by the Security Forces Squadron (SFS) and AFOSI detachment commanders and described in AF Instructions.

2. Serves as liaison to, coordinates with, and assists other investigating agencies to include local, federal, and military on issues concerning investigations affecting the base.

Duties
1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19.
2. Performs hazard and risk assessment techniques in completing initial incident analysis. Surveys the incident to identify materials involved, determines whether hazardous materials have been released, evaluates surrounding conditions; and predicting the likely behavior of a material and/or container.
3.Performs crash-rescue and firefighting duties involving air traffic or support operations where hazardous conditions are such that the expectancy for fire is high and potential for becoming destructive is great.
4.Performs structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities, which may include large multistoried buildings, industrial areas, and/or base storage facilities. Performs rescue of personnel and a variety of first aid measures to alleviate further injury and prepare the victim(s) for transport to a medical facility.
5.Maintains firefighting equipment and fire station facilities. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.

• Leads three or more lifeguards in the performance of lifeguard and related swimming facility duties.
• Monitors activities within assigned swimming facility.
• Rescues and resuscitates individuals in danger of drowning and renders first aid to injuries.

2. Directs firefighting crew in the operation of firefighting vehicles and equipment. • Develops, coordinates, obtains approval, and publishes plans and procedures for implementation of installation policies and instructions relating to EM.
• Conducts installation EM assessment and interprets and analyzes assessment results.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Barnes Center of Enlisted Education curriculum specialist and advisor for all facets of education across all levels of Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME). The position oversees the training of EPME faculty and the development of education standards for and on behalf of Air Force's EPME programs and programmatic functions.

DUTIES:

• Performs as the lead instructional designer for EPME curricula.
• Develops, reviews, and revises core curriculum and makes recommendations of learning objectives, course content, methodology, textbook design, evaluation instruments, editing and production and other related aspects of curriculum development.
• Manages a comprehensive program EPME educational analysis.
• Serves as a distance learning Instructional Systems Specialist, optimizing the use of instructional technology, course design, and delivery methods.
• Communicates EPME expertise to internal and external agencies on issues relative to the design and delivery of EPME.
