- Manages the activities of the Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR) office. Responsible for the management and supervision of military personnel working in the IPR office. Directly responsible to the Military Personnel Flight Commander/Force Support Squadron Commander. Keeps Mission Support Commander abreast of all mission taskings-training, exercise, or contingency, and funding programs that involve Force Support Squadron personnel. Ensures DCAPES in-garrison and deployable systems are ready for deployment at all times. Continually monitors all Air Force and ACC directives to ensure any changes are incorporated into 23d Wing plans. Maintains currency in base OPLANS and existing directives tasking wing personnel and units for deployment.
- Serves as the FSS war planner for all facets of personnel contingencies, exercise, and deployments. Maintains familiarity with all tasked OPLANs and other taskings requiring movement of personnel. Works with the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) to ensure the base's installation deployment plan covers all aspects of processing and accounting for moving forces. Develops personnel inputs to base deployment plans, continuity of operations plan (COOP) plans, and emergency action plans. Works with IDO, the FSS commander, MPF commander, and the PDF OIC/NCOIC in developing centralized in/out processing procedures in support of plans requiring mass movement of forces.
- Maintain the Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) assigned to the FSS. Ensures the DCAPES equipment is loaded by the designated equipment custodian into a deployable ITAMS account. Develop and submit terminal area procedures to the CGGS information security officer. Ensure the implementation of security guidelines established IAW GTASO directives. Report security abnormalities and incidents to the GISSO.
- Coordinate Personnel Support for Contingency Operations (PERSCO) and Personnel Deployment Function (PDF) training and AEF assignment. Responsible for planning and monitoring all DCAPES, PERSCO, and PDF training with the Military Personnel Flight.
