• Manage all incoming leads for the booking of guest rooms and/or meeting/catering functions

• Disseminate event information to the appropriate departments via memos, emails, banquet event orders, directives and rooming lists in a professional and timely manner 

• Conduct daily meeting to review event contracts to ensure last minute changes are communicated accordingly 

• Conduct pre-conference meetings to ensure that key departments are fully aware of relevant details  

• Maintain visibility throughout events and be the on-site client liaison  

• Follow up post-event to address any issues whilst soliciting return business 

• Establish good business and social relationships within the industry and participate in PR activities to increase sales leads for the Hotel  

• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.

Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies:

Create and implement integrated digital marketing strategies to drive business objectives (brand awareness, lead generation, sales, etc.).
Analyze customer insights and market trends to develop targeted campaigns.
Monitor and optimize digital marketing strategies for maximum ROI.
Campaign Management & Optimization:

Lead and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), focusing on budget optimization, audience targeting, and ad copy creation.
Develop SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase web traffic.
Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring high open and conversion rates.
Content Strategy & Execution:

Work with content teams to develop engaging content for blogs, social media, videos, and website copy.
Oversee content calendar creation and ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines.
Analytics and Reporting:

Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns (using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.).
Use insights and data to make informed decisions and optimize ongoing campaigns.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), ROI, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS

Brand

• Be fully conversant with the brand, its standards and its DNA (visual and written communication, product, service, distribution e.g. brand Packages)
• Manage brand compliance for the hotel to grow the equity of the hotel and outlet brands and the brand equity across all channels
• Manage all marketing/promotional/sales collateral development/production both on and off line

Communications / Public Relations

• Manage a fully integrated communications calendar for the Hotel around events, food and beverage, public holidays, need periods
• Establish and maintain a relationship with Key local press and local media
• Liaise with the regional Communications team to maximise communications exposure
• Ensure all visual and written communication (internal/external, offline/online) is fully aligned with the hotels positioning and brand

Sponsorship

• To identify opportunities to further expose the hotel and maximize revenue opportunities through sponsoring local sport/cultural/art events that are aligned with the hotel positioning and are sound in delivering a strong ROI
• Drive the marketing and communication (internal and external) of the Hotels CSR commitments

E Marketing

• Effectively manage the hotel’s content and images through conducting regular website audits
• Proactively explore all online opportunities for the hotels including but not limited to; local business opportunities, city/regional tourism organisations
• Manage the hotels’ website – traffic and revenue generation, promotional content display
• Manage the hotel email database and e communication activity
• Manage online advertising for the hotel (display banners, SEM/PPC etc)
• Manage the online promotion for conference and catering and food and beverage activity at the hotel
• Set-up, manage social media accounts and sharing sites as relevant to the hotels markets (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, etc) and develop social networks
• Monitor various media for positive and negative comments and discussions about the Hotel (Tripadvisor, Blogs, Forums). Take part in conversations and answer comments as a mediator
• Report to appropriate parties negative comments and discussions
• Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our Hotel

Training and Human Resources Management

• Be understanding hotel regulation and master all knowledge in Staff manual
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Responsible for understanding all Spa departments training in pertinent emergency procedures and follow strictly treatment protocols

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation with a high level of customer service provided at all times.  
 

What will you be doing?

• Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel team
• Supervise and monitor hotel team members with true leadership ability that motivates the entire team.
• Assist in the running of Distrikt cafe and our All-Day Dining including service, food prep and coffee making
• Take initiative to ensure all interactions with our guests are positive and productive.  
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation in absence of the General Manager/Senior Managers with a high level of customer service provided at all times.
• Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests/customers to reach a win-win situation.
• Ensure there is management support and presence visible on Front Desk and in the lobby during key times throughout the day.  
• Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests.
• Respond to and coordinate emergency situations.
