Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.
The RDM Release Manager works closely with assigned Engineers, Program and Project Managers and other support and service providers. The RDM Release Manager focuses and forecasts the delivery track of multi-phase work against change and release calendar(s).
The RDM Release Manager needs to fully understand the bank change processes.
The RDM Release Manager must be mindful of how their role impacts the firm’s business and reputation. Key to this role is having a “better than general” understanding of networking technologies and functions including Operations, Architecture and Engineering, Product and Service Management, Business Services and Finance. Concepts such as driving value, always delivering quality, keeping commitments, being on-time and under-budget, effective and detailed communications. Managing time is critical, developing and managing tasks efficiently is the key to success.
The technology areas of concentration include:
Data Center/DMZ, B2B, VOR, and Building Networking solutions including Wireless LAN, Structured Cabling and Cable Systems and Pathways
Public and private transport systems, WAN, Optical systems and emerging technologies such as Switched-Ethernet, LTE, (etc.), SDWAN, Cloud and Virtualized services
Knowledge in related technology areas such as Network Appliance, Video, Voice and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, UC and Collaboration services is important
Key Responsibilities:
Strong Project and program management skills
Manages multiple related and interdependent projects to collectively deliver a desired business outcome based on varying degrees of complexity
Manages end-to-end network infrastructure delivery life cycle including the collection and translation of business requirements to enable technical execution of network programs and projects
Rigorously manages scope to ensure agreed/approved/appropriate value is delivered and commitments are achieved within time, cost, risk and quality parameters
Plans and coordinates project deliverables across multiple service providers in support of network infrastructure project requirements
Develops and manages the network related tasks within the overall work plan
Ability to understand and translate business requirements into engineering and or implementation details
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in Technical role supporting network project/programs
Ability to create meaningful data that contributes to the Change Management and Service Delivery processes
Jira, Confluence, Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe Agile methodologies
Leadership: be a self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative
Focused on execution, delivery, and commitment to dates. Ability to work in a high paced environment
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance or related field/technical training
Strong analytical skills
Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL are strongly preferred
Technical certifications such as CCNA
Can manage risk; is a good decision maker
Understands the big picture; can relate to the firm’s strategy and actions and how they support our business results
Demonstrates ownership: Is accountable and influential/can hold others accountable (professionally)
Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate and influence upward as well as laterally

Experience with Change Management and CAB processes and procedures
Strong background in IT service delivery role
Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus
Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines
