Responsibilities / Tasks
SUMMARY Candidate needs to have strong math skills. Be able to accurately read blueprints and determine the correct order of the various fabrication steps to deliver a quality product to the weld shop. Candidate should be able to safely operate all of the equipment in the Sheet Metal Department, which includes sheer, rollers, press brake, plasma cutter, saw. Proper use of hand tools is needed. Exhibits care of the material surfaces. 5S procedures and expectations known.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Shearing material accurately.
- Bending sheet metal with press brakes.
- Rolling sheet metal to correct sizes.
- Be able to read blueprints and find details.
- Be able to use formulas for shear lengths, bend allowance, etc.
- 5S procedures, and expectations.

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read blueprints successfully.
- Ability to operate equipment safely including use of hand tools.
- Must be able to hoist/rigging safely and properly.
- Exhibit good math skills.
- Has strong attention to detail to ensure fabrication of parts without damage of finish.
