2BM Recruitment Ltd have been appointed by a global supplier of products for the oil and gas to recruit the new Generalist HR Advisor for their Sheffield site on a 6-month contract. This position has the potential of becoming permanent but is dependent on business needs at that time. • Salary circa £30k-£35k (Depending on experience & skills)

The HR Advisor will work as part of the central team in Sheffield to manage HR operations across the UK sites. Including but not limited to, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Being first point of call for all employee requests and queries, you will manage a shared inbox ensuring all requests and queries are completed in a timely manner.
• Support and advise Management with all employee relations.
• Monitor employee performance evaluations and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
• Coaching, counselling, and guiding Managers before executing disciplinary actions.
• Perform benefit administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
• End to end recruitment.
• Generally supporting the UK sites with all HR & People related activities with an onsite presence.
We’re extremely keen to talk to Generalist HR Advisors that have worked within a fast faced manufacturing/engineering company that have:
• CIPD qualification or working towards
• Experience of an Advisor role within a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment.
• Adept with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems, knowledge of Kronos is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of working to budgets and understanding cost implications.
• Full driving licence and be able to regularly (at least once a month) travel to sites across Lancashire, South Yorkshire, and Scotland’s Central Belt. A hire car and accommodation will be provided at company expense.
