Finance Operations Senior Analyst

As the Finance Operations Analyst, you will support the Head of Finance Operations in order to ensure the correct flow of funds and data for Outpayce’s regulated payment services. You will ensure that the Function operates in accordance with our regulatory obligations and will assist in generating reports to evidence this to the Regulator. You will analyse, process and monitor transaction disputes and assist Customer Care colleagues with transactional queries.
The immediate focus is on the establishment and documentation of the Finance Operations procedures and processes.
In this role you’ll:
- Protect Customer Funds and reconcile client accounts;
- Ensure that settlement obligations to the Scheme are met;
- Process and monitor disputes with both Mastercard and Visa and investigate and resolve rejected transactions;
- Become subject matter experts in card payments in order to assist with queries;
- Ensure the continued operation in times of crisis, when suppliers are unavailable for example.
About the ideal candidate
- You’ll have prior experience in the Payments and/or Finance Industries and working in a regulated environment.
- You’ll have excellent knowledge and experience of reconciliations and chargebacks.
- You’ll be able to analyse data in order to explain complex issues simply and to influence stakeholders
- You are calm under pressure, adhere to strict deadlines and work collaboratively with other teams.
