Menzies Distribution are looking for Self Employed Courier's to join our team in Wakefield,providing a first-class service covering across a 7-day operation, packing and delivering in the early hours of the morning. Job entails carrying out route preparation, loading own vehicle and delivery of product to between 20-40 customers per day (same delivery points each day), and returning to depot with any unsold product.
Start time 02:00am until finish (usually between 7:30am – 9:00am) dependent on route.
7 days per week
£750 - £950 P/W dependant on route
Self Employed Courier requirements:
• The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
• A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
• 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
• Goods In Transit Insurance
• Public Liability Insurance
• Hire and Reward Insurance
• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
PLEASE NOTE
If you do not currently own or have access to a 3.5-tonne vehicle (Transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one. You will also need to have all insurances (Goods in Transit, Public Liability & Hire and Reward) in place prior to starting.
