The duties of the Lower Chargehand will include responsibility to the Lower Foreman to carry out grounds maintenance contract work.

Responsibilities
The Individual
Demonstrable work experience in a horticultural environment
Demonstrable experience of working within health and safety parameters
PAI Pesticide Application Certificate
PA6 Pesticide Application Certificate
Horticultural Qualification top NC Level or equivalent work horticulture work experience.
Ability to follow routines and instructions
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a pick- up or other light vehicle
Ability to display motivational techniques.
Ability to organise, plan, prioritise and monitor workloads.
Ability to communicate effectively with both work colleagues and members of the public
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the practice of effective team working
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to work overtime as required by the needs of the service

Starting salary: £24,935.04
£12.96 per hour
Hours are Annualised to 35 in the winter and 39 in the summer
