SUMMARY
The Scrum Master/Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated master schedule for courseware development projects within an agile environment. Ensures the development team follows scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the team to improve processes, facilitate meetings, decision-making processes, and eliminate team impediments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Identifies potential schedule risks and reports to management team.
Serve as Scrum Master within an agile environment providing support to managers/task leads to manage timelines associated with sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
Facilitates agile process across team and with government personnel.
Establishes scrum boards and reporting mechanisms for entire team and government.
Assists to create an open and trust-based environment and culture, which enables a focus on delivery and facilitates continuous improvement.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATION
May need a government clearance.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Facilitates discussions and decision making and assists in mediation of conflict resolution.
Leads the team and guides them on how to get the most out of self-organization.
Able to troubleshoot and identify issues quickly.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop, organize, conduct, and oversee quality control and review programs.
Deep knowledge of agile and scrum.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
