• You will have extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of the Chief Financial Officer application.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Distributes and balances workload among employees in accordance with established workflow or job specialization and assures timely accomplishment of assigned workload;
• Monitors status and progress of work and makes day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities;
• Maintains current knowledge and answers questions of other employees on procedures, policies, directives, or other guidelines as necessary and obtains needed information or decisions from supervisor on problems;
• Maintains stock at primary and secondary inventory locations for all clinical and administrative services, including pulling stock inventory and material from inventory for delivery, replenishing stock inventory, interacting with customers to resolve issues, maintaining records on stock levels, etc.;
• Performs inventory using bar code equipment and resolves differences between records and physical count of stock;
• Ensures areas are cleaned in accordance with aseptic principles as published in infection control guidelines, local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Joint Commission standards as scheduled;
• Receives supplies and materials into the catchment area including unpacking/uncrating supplies from shipping cartons; storing supplies and materials; and ensuring sterility and integrity of the supplies and material as well as the data integrity of the inventory management system; and
• Works with clinical and administrative customers as well as outside vendors with tact and diplomacy to coordinate work activities and resolve operating issues pertaining to supply management requirements.

As a SUPERVISORY DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST, GS-2030-10, you will assist in the development of plans and direct work within the DOL to include such functions as inventory and storage management, quality assurance, maintenance, procurement and property utilization and disposal. Perform a number of supervisory personnel functions. Render technical assistance and guidance to the DOL, Base Operations Manager, and higher levels of outside command for logistical services, and assists all other directorates with requisitioning supplies and equipment. Review, propose, direct the development of and/or develop local supply management directives including those pertaining to warehousing and stock control. Meet with National Guard Bureau personnel, other governmental agencies, state National Guard Commands and activities on logistical warehousing and storage matters, plans, policies and directives. Assist in the development of plans to support organizations utilizing the GTC. Work under the general supervision of the DOL. The incumbent is responsible for directing and managing the Warehouse and Storage for the Directorate of Logistics.

• You will be responsible for performing as a CPI Black Belt (BB) in the planning, progress, and completion of technically challenging Performance Improvement efforts of significant value.
• You will make impartial recommendations on improvement based on data-driven analysis.
• You will use advanced process improvement techniques to identify root causes, predict their effects on future state with the goal of sustaining performance benefits, and maintains project records in CPI database systems as required.
• You will be responsible for reporting tangible financial and mission benefits and Return on Investment (ROI) gained from implementation of these processes.
• You will provide project management support to Validation and Sustainment activities, and report project status as needed.

• You will perform a full range of warehouse functions in order to handle, move, and store material in the proper location.
• You will review item characteristics such as special storage requirements, security requirements, and historical data in order to locate material in the proper area.
• You will use the Security Cooperation Management System (SCMS) to research and identify items and generate shipping documents, receipts, and labels.
• You will utilize automated equipment, such as bar code wands, laser scanning equipment, or computer terminals to verify inventory levels, place stock, verify storage locations, and produce shipment documentation.

As an Information Technology Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible for systems reliability and accessibility, information systems security programs policy/strategic development, IT continuity of operations planning/support, and support the Department in integrating information security services and related technologies to accomplish departmental IT security goals and program objectives, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
• Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations’ visions and goal.
• Participate and/or lead in network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies.
• Assess security events to determine impact and implements corrective actions ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all IT services.
• Provide program advice to senior DOT management and others on matters pertaining to information systems security programs policy/strategic development, IT continuity of operations planning/support, and support the Department in integrating information security services and related technologies to accomplish departmental IT security goals and program objectives.
