The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft fuel distribution systems, repair leaks of external/integrated tanks, and provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth therein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Receives work document(s) or oral instructions regarding problem with aircraft fuel system.
Duty 2 - Troubleshoots integral fuel tanks, using leak path analysis and other test procedures such as pressure checks, vacuum checks, dye injection checks, helium and argon gas checks, etc., to determine the source of fuel leaks.
Duty 3 - Troubleshoots fuel cells to determine location of leaks.
Duty 4 - Accomplishes modifications and prepares components for storage or shipment.
Duty 5 - In performing duties uses a variety of common hand tools, combustible and toxic gas indicators, torque wrenches, leak detectors, pressure gauges, manometers, powered tools such as drills and pneumatic wrenches; also, operates AGE such as blowers, filters, vacuum cleaners, heaters, air conditioners, fire extinguishers, etc.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Responsibilities:
1: Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.

2: Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.

3: Accomplishes aircraft maintenance and equipment record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair.

4: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe and clean work area.

5: Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees.

• You will be responsible for performing storage management Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO) functions to include ordering, monitoring, and coordinating personal property storage requirements.
• You will serve as a Task Order Official (booking agent) for Marine Corps members, their dependents, and U.S. Marine Corps federal employees.
• You will identify all required services needed to complete storage shipments, exercise knowledge of the program required to engage the appropriate external agency and/or execute within assigned Task Order authorities.
• You will notify members/employees of storage expiration dates and approve/disapprove request for storage extensions.
• You will notify Transportation Service Provider (TSP)/contractor if shipment is to be converted to commercial storage and perform all other duties incident to storage management.
• You will coordinate storage for units deploying over 90 days to include the pickup and delivery of storage per Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune directive, contract, and various Marine Corps orders.
