Job Summary

The Medical Global Supply Chain Execution team is responsible for managing the IT relationship between Cardinal Health business and IT teams. The team is part of a companywide SAP Center of Excellence (COE) where individuals will collaborate with other SAP teams supporting different business segments which provides the opportunity to learn and develop best practice and cutting-edge functionality in SAP S4. In addition, the team supports business partners located across the globe providing the opportunity to learn country unique processes while working with a diverse group of professionals. The role is responsible for both tactical project execution and determining strategic opportunities for improving business processes through IT functionality within the SAP S4 environment. Due to the team’s broad band of support, individuals in this role will be exposed to several different SAP modules and will have endless opportunities to cross train and expand their personal SAP S4 knowledge.

• Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
• Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
• Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
• Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
• Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.

• Planning and support within SAP S4 procurement processes and procedures
• Create configurations within SAP S4 MM and SAP PTP to support supply chain processes and procedures
• Referencing and reviewing T-codes
• Collaborate with other EIT teams as needed in performing the support activities
• Communicate effectively to business partners and other supporting teams

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• 4-6  years in SAP and experience with strong knowledge of functional processes preferred
• Functional PTP SAP knowledge preferred
• SAP MM (Materials Management) module preferred
• SAP Procurement experience preferred
• SAP Connections/Interfaces using ALE or middleware preferred
• Experience with creating configurations within the PTP and MM modules.  LE knowledge preferred
• Understanding and creating configurations needed to enable PTP processes preferred
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written preferred

Responsibilities

Manages the development and execution of a marketing plan for Cardinal Health’s U.S. Medical Distribution Acute Care channels by performing the following duties:

• Executes the tactical plan for marketing strategies and programs, both short-and long-term, to ensure the sales and margin performance goals of the business are achieved
• Leads commercial engagement with sales, customers, and industry and trade associations

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain Planning and PLM Technology collaborates with key supply chain leaders within the global organization to chart a strategy and vision to continuously transform our planning capability in response to an increasingly fast-paced and digitally enabled supply chain. Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

1. Develop and deliver against a multi-year strategy for Supply Chain Planning and PLM solutions.

2. Document the current supply chain system planning landscape and draft the future supply chain planning system landscape to support the growth and articulate how the architecture aligns with business strategy.

3. Execute multi-year end-to-end year planning program & re-implementation of PLM solution at Deckers.

4. Coordinate team efforts (internal & external), communications to senior leadership, and setting clear prioritization and objectives.

We’d love to hear from people with

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 10+ years’ experience with the entire software development lifecycle, requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• 8+ years of experience implementing supply chain planning and product lifecycle management solutions.
• Experience in implementing and managing planning platforms like (O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, and Kinaxis) is a must.
• Experience in implementing cloud-based product lifecycle management solutions is a must.
• Familiarity with contemporary data platforms, architecture, integration & analytics platforms, and approaches (e.g., Boomi, Oracle SOA, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, SAP Business Technology Platform)

$175,000-$190,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Position requirements include:

* High school diploma or equivalent with prior delivery experience

* Medical examiner's certificate and the ability to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record within company policy limits

* Must be able to become certified through OSHA in the following areas: Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat, and Security Awareness

* CDL preferred but not required

* Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

Amgen is seeking a Sr. Associate Supply Chain to be a part of our Global Raw Materials and Device (RMD) Supply Chain group. The Sr. Associate will work from Remote US Location or in Thousand Oaks, CA. reporting to Manager or Sr. Manager Supply Chain within External Planning & Delivery (EPD) within Global Supply Chain, which main objective is to orchestrate network planning for select raw materials and devices in alignment with Amgen’s planning cycle. The overall goals are to improve demand / supply planning signals to increase forecast accuracy, generate cost savings thru optimized order management and scrap containment, as well as reduce order-to-receipt lead-time. The team closely partners with the Site Procurement departments within the Site Supply Chain organizations and the RMD organization within External Supply, Manufacturing.

The Sr. Associate Supply Chain is responsible for the following:

• Analyze inventory reports daily to anticipate inventory problems and/or shortages, future supply, and logistical needs

• Execute, Monitor, and address issues with PO submission for applicable raw material & device suppliers

• Oversight and maintenance of Suppliers’ order confirmations to ensure ERP system alignment

• Supports recovery plans and network allocations in shortage situations

• Support QC prioritization in conjunction with site as needed

• Creates and maintains source master data in SAP and RapidResponse

• Find opportunities to optimize order management (e.g. order consolidation, order frequency, minimum order quantities, etc.)

• Serves as primary interface with Global and Site Planning for supplier order prioritization as needed

Other responsibilities include:

• Maintain excellent communication lines with all sources of demand and supply

• Effectively engage key partners within supply chain, quality, finance, process development and other functional areas as needed

• Provide ad hoc reporting to support network

• Develop and/or deliver reports, presentations and/or recommendations to executive audiences

• Serve as a Supply Chain resource and/or representative for special projects and initiatives

• Work under minimal supervision in line with Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes

This is for B Shift, weekdays,Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. This position is required to work on the production floor.

Summary of This Role

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or box van. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

What Part Will You Play?

• Assists and becomes familiar with required tasks in assigned production area to complete ordering/ staging of inventory for production operators and begins to learn how to operate a forklift/ box van/ other large machines to transport material as directed.
• Assists and becomes familiar with troubleshooting routine production and inventory issues. Becomes familiar with the identification and reporting process for inventory discrepancies.
• Assists with production process and learns the basic operation of a large/ complex production machine to gain basic knowledge of the entire production process for the primary functional area.
• Assists and becomes familiar with the proper means to maintain a clean, safe and organized work area following the "5S" Program (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) including Safety and Security, to enable "Just in Time" manufacturing.
