• Responsible for Flight Services, obtaining flight clearances, and validating required Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and other Go-no-Go pre-flight data.

• Use a variety of state-of-the-art physical security equipment to protect MOT national security assets from all threats to include waterborne, vehicle-borne, rail-borne and airborne to include drone technology.

1. Monitors, operates and receives information over Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) communications equipment via a variety of emergency 9-1-1 reporting systems and other emergency reporting phones.
2. Monitors and operates installation-wide central alarms system receiving equipment (fire, security, video, and other systems or devices) critical to personnel health, safety and resource protection requirements.
3. Prepares and maintains official records and other documents relating to ECC operations.
4. Operates, tests and conducts operator-level troubleshooting of equipment/devices, such as computers, radios, telephones, voice recorders, printers, facsimile systems.
5. Provides first responder alerting for emergency and non-emergency services, support services to the incident commander(s).

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) involved in the installing, troubleshooting, interrogating, programing/reprograming, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing of complex integrated aircraft electrical and environmental systems and equipment on board conventional/nuclear certified aircraft supported by the organization and to provide training to and evaluation of all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military as required in the accomplishment of duties set forth herein.

Duties:
1: Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated electrical/environmental systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment. Performs final functional and operational tests of complex integrated electrical/ environmental systems, both on and off equipment.

2: Installs, inspects, modifies, repairs, services, replaces, adjusts and overhauls complex integrated electrical/ environmental systems, both on and off equipment, to include, but not limited to: oxygen, fire suppression, air conditioning, pressurization, ice/rain protection, bleed air systems, avionics cooling systems, cargo/mission handling, missile interface units/bomb doors, anti-skid systems, landing gear, ignition, stall warning, flight control, AC/DC power supply and distribution, Integrated Drive Generator, fuel and explosive systems.

3: Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military.

4: Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area.

5: Documents/recommends methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures by reporting malfunctions, initiating product quality deficiency reports both on equipment and in technical data and assist in design changes as necessary.
