Staffline is recruiting a HGV Driver in Derby.

The rate of pay is £18.00 per hour flat rate, £37,440 per annum based on 40 hours per week (this will be minimum) and £42,120 per annum based on 45 hours per week.

This is a full time role. Maximise hours per week and have weekends free - guaranteed 40 hours per week temp and perm. The hours are 06:00am start to finish approx. 15:00pm to 17:00pm (45 to 48 hours usual week).

Your Time at Work

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

- Curtain sider work, strapping loads, pallet truck work for palletised goods, usual general haulage.
- Working across the UK from factories and distribution centers, (not stores). No planned stop overs unless due to road works and traffic etc a night out may be needed.
- Dry goods all palletised
- Paperwork for POA provided and inductions held by client on runs and service levels. No handheld terminals or apps required on mobile phones.
- Moving forward training on moffett trucks would be likely to support the businesses growth and customers needs, please note this in your application.

About You

Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for Class 1 Driver positions. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose from a shift rotation that covers all 7 days, making it suitable for Weekend Only drivers and Part-time drivers. The role involves early starts (0000-0500) and includes the delivery of Chilled or Frozen goods to Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) across the nation.

No more than 6 points on licence

Working Hours:
The start time for shifts will vary between 04:00 / 07:00, and the Class 1 Driver will work between 50 & 60 hours over a 5-day period.
