Job Responsibilities:

• Plans and lays out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders in manufacturing aircraft sheet metal structures which have combined straight and curved edges, and irregular angles, planes, and curves.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) involved in the removing, installing, troubleshooting, interrogating, overhauling, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing of complex integrated aircraft pneudraulic systems and equipment on board conventional/nuclear certified aircraft supported by the organization and to provide
training to and evaluation of all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military as required in the accomplishment of duties set forth herein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Conducts scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and periodic inspections on all pneudraulically operated systems on/off aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
Duty 2 - Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated pneudraulic systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment.
Duty 3 - Performs off-equipment maintenance and bench checks to support the repair cycle.
Duty 4 - Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Duty 5 - Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military.

1. Responsible for Flight Services, obtaining flight clearances, and validating required Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and other Go-no-Go pre-flight data.
2. Provides technical guidance and expertise in the scheduling of the flying unit Special Use Airspace (SUA).
3. Monitors substantiating personnel listings, independently determines the status of incoming/outgoing Personnel in Change of Station (PCS), Separation/Retirement, and Temporary Duty (TDY) status, and performs a wide-range of aviation management duties.
4. Manages aviation resource programs, utilizing Ad-Hoc reports and the Centralized AF ARMS systems; monitors the resources and training requirements for mission accomplishment and safety of flight.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer with overall supervision and management of either an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron , a Maintenance Squadron , an Equipment Maintenance Squadron or a Component Maintenance Squadron at an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) unit-equipped or associate unit.

RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the squadron. Manages assigned maintenance resources and ensures production meets operational requirements and technical standards. Recommends procedural and technical improvements and modifications.
2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities to include personnel and position management, equal opportunity, security, and safety. Advises employees regarding policies, procedures and directives of management. Maintains sound positions management practice when determining types and numbers of positions to support the organizational mission.
3. Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Meets with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolves significant problems that arise.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position; to verify and analyze malfunctions, troubleshoot, calibrate, modify, test, align, inspect, repair, configure, de-configure, and load assigned integrated weapons delivery systems; and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth
herein.

Duties:
1: Troubleshoots integrated weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and test equipment to determine nature of malfunctions and corrective actions required. Complies with security regulations, directives, and policies.

2: Performs maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication and modification of integrated weapons systems electronic and electro-mechanical components and their subassemblies. Performs alignment and calibration of integrated weapons systems components, subassemblies, and associated test equipment.

3: Removes/installs integrated weapons systems electronic components, and subassemblies into aircraft, alternate mission equipment, and associated test equipment. Loads and unloads, positions, arms, and safes all assigned air munitions on assigned aircraft. Certifies work produced under the USAF Technical Order Program.

4: Performs pretest, operational, functional, and final testing of integrated weapons systems electronic components, AME and their subassemblies. Plans and conducts training of reservists and other employees. Controls Tools. Cleans work area and equipment.

5: Accomplishes configuration changes of integrated weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies to accommodate assigned aircraft mission requirements. Utilizes safety practices and procedures. Completes work control documents in accordance with established procedures.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1: Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.

2: Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.

3: Accomplishes aircraft maintenance and equipment record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair.

4: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe and clean work area.

5: Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft fuel distribution systems, repair leaks of external/integrated tanks, and provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth therein.

Duties:
1: Receives work document(s) or oral instructions regarding problem with aircraft fuel system. Accomplishes modifications and prepares components for storage or shipment.

2: Troubleshoots integral fuel tanks, using leak path analysis and other test procedures such as pressure checks, vacuum checks, dye injection checks, helium and argon gas checks, etc., to determine the source of fuel leaks.

3: Troubleshoots fuel cells to determine location of leaks. Prepares effective training plans to maximize Reserve training.

4: In performing duties uses a variety of common hand tools, combustible and toxic gas indicators, torque wrenches, leak detectors, pressure gauges, manometers, powered tools such as drills and pneumatic wrenches; also, operates AGE such as blowers, filters, vacuum cleaners, heaters, air
conditioners, fire extinguishers, etc.

5: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.

• Applying Air Force mobility nuclear-certified rated aviator experience analyzes, evaluates, and instructs nuclear mission operations and serves as a command level air transportation operations specialist.
