The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) work leader and aircraft Dedicated Crew Chief over a crew of three or more workers/mechanics. In this capacity, the work leader/crew chief coordinates and oversees all maintenance/scheduled inspections performed on his/her assigned aircraft. While performing such duties is considered as being the technical authority of the assigned aircraft, providing instructional guidance, making work arrangements, and ensuring the production pace is maintained. Performs non-leader trades and labor work as a member of the work crew. Trains reservists in the accomplishment of duties and responsibilities set forth herein.

Duties:
1: Serves as a Work Leader/Dedicated Crew Chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for effectively coordinating and/or overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting, positioning, appearance and servicing of the aircraft. Responsible for the total airworthiness of the assigned aircraft.

2: Performs and/or oversees aircraft inspections including preflight, post flight, phase, acceptance, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

3: Provides technical supervision on production matters to all employees assigned to the crew/team, which may include active duty, ARTs, civilians, and others.

4: Enforces and complies with safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.

5: Leads verification and certification of work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by qualified mechanics and trainees.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as
removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and
operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing
gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control
systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

DUTY 1: Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.
DUTY 2: Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.
DUTY 3: Accomplishes aircraft maintenance and equipment record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair.
DUTY 4: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe and clean work area.
DUTY 5: Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees.

A SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-6, (1) Incumbent is responsible to provide technical assistance to subordinate elements, the headquarters logistics section, and other staff sections concerning logistics and maintenance management. Assists in providing proficiency training for logistical personnel within the command. Reviews current and future equipment authorization documents and provides recommendations for modification. Performs random reviews of subordinate organization expendable/durable requisitions. Assists in monitoring funds availability in accordance with regulations and the commander's priorities. Verifies property listings to ensure non-expendable quantities are commensurate with authorized levels of current or future authorization documents. Reviews current due-in status of back orders and identifies issues or problems. Performs audits of shortage/overage annexes to ensure all non-expendable/ expendable/durable items are on hand, on valid requisitions, or turn-in actions have been initiated. Executes supply and maintenance discipline inspections and other like evaluations of subordinate logistical operations. Performs assistance visits in the areas of supply and maintenance. Ensures regulatory compliance concerning the proper storage and security of organizational equipment. Audits personal clothing records at subordinate elements. Examines organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE) reports to ensure the completion of supply actions of subordinate organizations.
(2) Provides input for the development of command logistics policies. Consolidates organization level logistics feeder information for the organizational readiness report. Assists in preparing logistics plans for scheduled training. Coordinates for the receipt and issue of billeting, equipment, and supplies for training. Reviews Reports of Survey, Cash Collections, and Statements of Charges for property loss or damage. Reviews and forwards adjustment documents. Assists in monitoring high priority requisitions, reviews on-hand levels of equipment, identifies equipment excess and shortages, and reviews and coordinates transfers of equipment. Monitors the execution of lateral transfers required to support deployment operations. Assists in the coordination and assures the receipt, inventory, and issue of new equipment fielded to the command. Prepares or reviews convoy requests, movement plans, and transportation requests for movement of equipment and personnel. Reviews and forwards the Army Unit Equipment List to higher headquarters. Inputs transportation data into supporting automation systems for the purpose of developing transportation plans for deployment operations. Prepares reports, schedules repair or maintenance, and requests replacement of GSA vehicles.
(3) Performs as a technical specialist in food service administration. Reviews and forwards subsistence requests and consumption reports. Adjusts scheduled meal menus based on training requirements. Reviews annual training (AT) and inactive duty training (IDT) food service records and provides guidance to logistical and food service personnel.
(4) Prepares requests and coordinates receipt of bulk and package petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL). Coordinates and completes turn-in actions for POL. Prepares or assists in the preparation of ammunition requests. Coordinates and assists in the receipt, issue, and turn-in of ammunition and residue. Forwards reports of ammunition usage for reconciliation. Coordinates the request, issue, and turn-in of medical supplies. May be required to receive and issue billets, equipment, and supplies for training. Individual must hold current hazardous material (HAZMAT) certification for the purpose of hazardous materials handling/reporting and environmental safety.
(5) May be required to coordinate with local officials, service organizations, etc., for a variety of purposes: armory security coordination with police, rental of the armory, recruiting activities, and organizational participation in celebrations. May coordinate the equipment requirements to support school activities such as "career days" for the purpose of informing individuals and groups of the benefits of belonging to the National Guard.

A AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG, 8852, 10, (1) Performs inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on aircraft to include periodic, phase, hourly, preflight, postflight, calendar, thru-flight, and special inspections such as fuel contamination, emergency equipment, and oil sampling. Inspects and performs functional checks such as landing gear retraction and operation checks on hydraulic, electrical, pressurization, lubrication, de-icing, vacuum, induction, and exhaust systems. Installs equipment such as external tanks, tow reels, hoists, and pylons.
(2) Troubleshoots and performs unscheduled maintenance on assigned and transient aircraft, utilizing various gauges, meters, measuring devices and other related test equipment. Performs major adjustments and alignments of aircraft systems or components and assists specialists as required. Removes and replaces aircraft components such as control surfaces, engines, constant speed drive, engine mounted gear boxes, wing fuel tanks or cells, landing gear mechanisms, wheels, brakes and tires. Services oil, fluid, fuel, hydraulic, and oxygen systems. Adjusts and maintains installed equipment such as tow targets, hydraulic reels, and drive assemblies. Removes and replaces working or inoperative parts and elements. Performs operator maintenance on aircraft installed auxiliary power units. Tows, taxies, parks, and moors assigned and transient aircraft. Meets and debriefs the aircrew on the status of the aircraft. Launches and recovers assigned and transient aircraft to include those on alert status. Performs end-of-runway inspections prior to take-off. Inspects for conditions such as oil, fuel and hydraulic leaks; damaged tires; and loose panels which would make the aircraft unsafe for flight.
(3) May be required to perform user and organizational level maintenance on assigned support equipment, including inspection, repair, modification, and corrosion prevention. Inventories, controls, stores and repairs 780 equipment. Accomplishes and reviews nonpowered AGE and 780 equipment records relating to assigned equipment.
(4) Provides data for aircraft maintenance historical records, complete maintenance data collection, man-hour accounting, and other forms as required. Assists the aircraft maintenance supply function in identifying parts and stock numbers and obtaining necessary parts and tools to perform assigned duties.
(5) Instructs, directs, and assigns maintenance repair tasks to drill status guard members. Observes work and ensures compliance with standard procedures and applicable technical publications.
(6) Complies with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations. Ensures that material and equipment are properly stored, protected, maintained and secured.
(7) Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations such as MEI, ORI, IG and UE inspections, mobility and command support exercises. May be required to perform such additional duties as structural fire fighting, aircraft fire/crash/ rescue duty, security guard, snow removal, munitions loading and handling, heavy equipment operator, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or serve as a member of a team to cope with natural disasters or civil emergencies.

The Training Coordinator assists with managing the non-technical training program, which includes administrative, hazardous material, logistics, managerial, office automation, safety, and human relations courses. All duties of the Training Coordinator are directly related to ensuring employees within the Technical Operation organizations are trained properly, and their qualifications and certifications, where applicable, are documented correctly.

Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Maintains knowledge of FAA training requirements, polices and processes. Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and assisting the Senior Training Coordinator plan and use assigned resources to accomplish projects/programs/activities. Ensures all prerequisite training, enrollment and pre-course counseling forms are completed in a timely manner. Consults with the coordinator or manager to identify training needs and translate them into training opportunities and/or training plans.

Collaborates, with the coordinator and management to develop comprehensive training material for non-technical training required to meet current needs which cannot be satisfied by training available from within the FAA, computer-based instruction mode, or out-of-agency. Ensures the coordinator and management are kept apprised of the organization's non-technical and technical training needs and trends.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Inspection & Aero Repair Flight Chief, exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work. Trains reservist in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:

1. Plans on a weekly or monthly basis the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials in an organizational segment or group.
2. Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes.
3. Advises employees of performance expectations and explains new work techniques, as required.

This Coordination Center Officer position is located at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting security from functions and operations such as Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR), Playbook, Screening Passengers by Observation Techniques (SPOT) operations, Transportation Security Specialist - Explosives (TSS-E) operations, Travel Document Check (TDC) operations, and other activities and applicable operations.
• Coordinating and tracking the readiness status and maintaining working relationships with other related entities throughout TSA, including Headquarters and other airport operations to ensure effective coordination and sharing of necessary information, as determined by the Federal Security Director (FSD).
• Reviews emergency call information (e.g., bomb threat, breach, applicable Transportation Security Operations Center (TSOC) incidents, etc.) and transferring information in accordance with local procedures.
• Reviews incident reports for accuracy and completeness to ensure proper reporting procedures have been followed. Inputting incident report data using various systems such as PARIS. Assisting senior employees or supervisor in preparing reports and briefings on issues related to significant security incidents such as bomb threats, on-board disturbances, security access control events, airport screening operations, airport statistical data, and inspection and law enforcement activities.
• Determines the significance of events, follows incidents reporting guidelines (per TSOC guidance) and ensuring the delivery of information to appropriate recipient(s). Ensuring that superiors are aware of ongoing activities and recognizing the need to call to their attention important new information which may require further examination or action.
