Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services, optimising supply chain processes, and delivering outstanding results to our clients. You will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, while managing key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and monitor supply, storage, and distribution strategies to optimise operations.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring availability while minimizing costs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee the operation of recording systems to track inventory, supplies, and finished goods movements, ensuring timely reordering and restocking.
• Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding outbound goods, coordinating transport and delivery schedules.
• Track and report on key supply chain metrics, using data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to minimise transportation and warehousing costs while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure that all supply chain activities adhere to safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Direct and monitor the performance of supply chain staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
• Degree in International Business, Project/Program Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Industry experience in supply chain operations and distribution management.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
