POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the development and maintenance of profitability models used to drive business growth and profitability improvements across the Company. Supports continued efforts to evolve and refine cost allocation model by partnering with both internal and external support teams. Leverages profitability model data and analytics to identify and implement profit opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in monthly model updates and maintenance, with a focus on continuous process improvement to deliver timely and accurate data.
Identifies and evaluates opportunities for cost assignment improvements to model.
Develops analytics leveraging data from profitability model to identify opportunities in support of margin improvement initiatives.
As Subject Matter Expert of the profitability model, provides support to other users of the tool in answering questions or troubleshooting issues.
Provides ad hoc reporting and analytics support.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience required, in an analytical area such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance & Accounting, or Economics.
- 4 or more years of applicable experience.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Statement of Cash Flows, Income Statements.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with large, complex data sets.
- Experience identifying necessary data sources and ability to pull data from reporting servers for analysis.
- Demonstrated achievement in application of IT tools toward improving analytical decision-making.
- Ability to work with various departments at various levels.
- Strong communication skills, especially in the area of verbal/written communication to senior management.
- Ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, and use data to support your position.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems.
- Strong ability and experience in performing multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to work independently and within a group setting.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
