Master Project Scheduler, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a Master Project Scheduler on our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the DoD. You'll provide subject matter expertise in developing integrated master schedules for programs up to the Acquisition Category I (ACAT I) level. You'll create and manage a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to enable accurate performance tracking productivity, manpower application, cost and funding forecasting. You'll develop and maintain an IMS that enables program managers to anticipate and effectively plan for staffing and logistics requirements. You'll also collaborate with program leadership to review contracts, project cost accounting, and tactical planning using tools like Microsoft Project and Kidasa Milestone Pro, and regular interactions with program managers and IPT Teams.

You will identify key program milestone events, CDRL deliveries, program reviews, and integration activities. You'll document contract changes, additions, and training requirements. You Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Project

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. In this position you will perform road and highway design tasks and civil engineering calculations and analysis. You will be tasked with geometric layout, construction specification development and material quantity calculations. You will utilize MicroStation and 3D modeling software and interface with CAD designers, as well as other engineers and subconsultants. Additional Qualifications:

Reviews supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings, as required.

Senior Aviation Mission Planning Analyst

Do you want to ensure your Navy and Marine Corps warfighter is successful and supported in the battlespace of tomorrow?  Then join KBR as a Senior Aviation Mission Planning Analyst to support the requirements and resourcing for the Navy and Marine Corps fleet.  You will be supporting the Chief of Naval Operations Staff (OPNAV), Strike Branch (N980S) to develop the annual budget for development, production, and sustainment of the Next Generation Mission Planning System (NGNMPS) for future Navy and Marine warfighting operations. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• This position interacts with the whole Naval Air Enterprise (NAE), from the Pentagon staff to Combatant Commanders to Wings and Squadrons. 

• Focuses on coordinating and integrating the requirements and capabilities of NGNMPS to minimize war fighting risk and maintain superior capability against the global threat.

Specific tasks in support of N980S requirements/resourcing officers include:

• Provide research, analysis, investigation, and evaluation of data in support of the annual Program Objectives Memorandum process.

• Liaison with OPNAV Strike portfolio stakeholders and participate in meetings and working groups.

• Support development of planning and programming for portfolio budgets in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process

• Provide staff support for the OPNAV Strike portfolio; review and recommend program changes or alignment with existing and evolving aviation plans and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15-years’ experience that includes some combination of Naval Aviation operations, staff experience (e.g., wing, battle group, fleet, combatant command), NAVAIR acquisition, or requirements development on the OPNAV staff.

• Experience should include at least one of the following: Military mission planning/joint mission planning of military operations OR Developing tactical aviation Mission Planning systems

• Must have an active secret level security clearance at start; a Top Secret security clearance is preferred.

• Working experience, knowledge, and understanding of the PPBE process and PBIS

• Knowledge and understanding of the JCIDS process and requirements development.

Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

Our Project Managers still get very involved in the designs on the project. Experience on projects through project life-cycle from concept (pre-FEED) straight through to commissioning and startup. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline teams doing feasibility, FEED and detailed engineering, procurement support and construction phases of capital projects. They will have comprehensive knowledge of industry standards while having a proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications

What you'll be doing:

• Performs project management responsibilities on an industrial EPCm Capital Projects ($1M to $100M projects)

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing to project team and Parsons’ clients. Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, presentations, and proposals.

• Identify any gaps for engineering deliverables associated with Stage and Gate process/Front End Loading funding concepts for industrial projects and work with customers and internal team to resolve it in a timely manner

• Integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly.

• Having oversight of a specific area and establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines,

• Oversee project controls and other project service functions on a mid to large TIC projects

• For a larger project, develops a complete understanding of the contract and any relevant subcontracts in order to provide full support to the project management team

• Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution. 

• Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. 

• Markets and secures additional work with client. 

• Verify with the Project Director (PD) that project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met.

• Draft for the Project Director (PD) approval the project baseline and verify that it is fully documented, updated, and communicated to the project team as appropriate ,

• Support the PD to deliver the project in accordance with the project execution and commercial baselines

• Participate in sales and marketing efforts as requested

• Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. 

• Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to two page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.

• Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. 

• Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. 

• Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.  Advises the client and company management of any such changes.  The Project Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.

• Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes. 

• Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. 

• Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/business field

• Applicant should have 10-15+ years of relevant work experience

• Experience in working on various manufacturing capitol projects

• Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background

• Professional registration may also be required

• Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project
