The duties of the position may include but, are not limited to:
- Responsible tor determining Veteran eligibility status for BT mileage reimbursement and requests for payment of special mode transportation (ambulance, air ambulance, wheelchair, etc.).
- Processes BT mileage reimbursement requests, assigning the correct Fund Control Point (FCP) to each transaction.
- Performs BT financial Co-pay tests to determine BT eligibility and notifies veteran of outcome.
- Incumbent serves as a liaison between medical center personnel, Veterans and their representatives requesting transportation, and is responsible for arranging and coordinating, ambulette, ambulance, and airline trips etc., using the most cost-efficient mode to the Government. Incumbent ensures completion of consults for special mode trips in Computer Patient Record System (CPRS) daily.

- Daily responsibilities include transportation appointment scheduling, collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of VTS and SMT programs.
- Performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
- Aggregates incoming data from a variety of sources.
- Reviews documents, reports, and/or application for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
- Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
- Maintains automated system of program-specific data to track items such as service project milestones, progress reports, program
trends, performance measures, compliance strategies, etc.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
