Trainee Freight Operator
Paying £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience/knowledge.
Based in Castle Donington (DE74).
Permanent role – offering hybrid working.

We are working with a well-established, reputable privately-owned Freight Forwarder who are based in Castle Donington, who are recruiting for a Trainee Freight Operator to join their organisation.

This role will offer comprehensive, on the job training with a qualification after completion. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with an interest in Global Freight and Logistics to commence a career with a successful Freight Forwarder.

You will be trained in all aspects of Seafreight, Airfreight and Roadfreight. Starting in Ocean Imports, working on behalf of a large key account, you will be trained in other aspects of freight with the end goal to become multimodal.

The successful candidate will strong a strong desire to learn, strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability and confidence to work both independently and part of a team.

This role will suit someone who is looking to commence a career within Freight Forwarding, or a candidate who possesses some knowledge of Freight or Logistics operations and is wanting to move into Forwarding.
