Great opportunity for a Van driver / 3.5 Tonne driver based in Kingswood, Bristol.

We are currently looking for a van driver to join the team in Kingswood, you will be working for one of Bristol’s largest wholesalers using a 3.5 Tonne vehicle to complete deliveries across the UK going as far north as Durham and as far south as Cornwall.

You will be tasked with a route delivering to regular customers, usually completing between 5 to 8 drops each day. You will need to start at 6am and a typical day could be 8 to 10 hours, working Monday to Friday.

Some heavy lifting can be involved, and you will need a good level of customer service.

This is a great opportunity for regular van / 3.5 Tonne driving work with an excellent company, which could also lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Job Role - Van Driver Service Technician

Location - Bristol, BS20

Pay Rate - £13.24 PAYE + overtime available

Are you a compassionate, reliable, and technically minded individual who wants to make a real difference in people's lives?

We are looking for a Van Driver & Service Technician to deliver and install oxygen equipment in the homes of vulnerable individuals across Bristol and the surrounding area. This is more than just a driving job - it's an opportunity to provide essential support to those who need it most and meet some wonderful people along the way!

The role involves driving a van to multiple locations, you will be responsible for delivering gas canisters to vulnerable people's homes and installing and servicing home breathing apparatus. You will be required to move the oxygen canisters from the van into people's home, therefore heavy lifting will be required.

This role involves working 5 days per week including Saturdays (You will get a day off during the week). There is also an on-call rota that you will have participate in.

About you:

The ideal candidate will hold a full UK category B driving licence with no more than 3 points.

Experience in a similar delivery or service technician role is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and empathetically.

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

A caring and professional attitude, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
