This Assistant Federal Security Director - Generalist position is located at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected, you will be responsible for supporting the Federal Security Director (FSD) by providing day to day direction for airport security and operations at airports with multiple checkpoints and a workforce. Duties include but are not limited to:

SUMMARY

The Replenishment Driver’s primary job function is to put away and retrieve products from back stock locations for the Receiving and Stocking departments. This position works under general supervision. The position will interact with a supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Responsible for the Warehouse operational execution, architecture, network design and optimized flow of materials through the network (in/out and thru operations), oversight of N. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for meeting quality/safety/compliance, service, management, and financial objectives for Supply Chain Management which includes the Distribution Operations function. Provides strategic leadership of short and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the company's mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organizational structure within assigned business unit(s).

• Interprets and provides recommendations for change of company policies and practices.  Establishes policies for the function.

• Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.

SUPERVISION:

• May be responsible for the direct supervision of Regional Managers, analysts, engineers and others, as needed.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA with concentration in operations, supply chain or logistics preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:        

• 10+ years of Distribution focused supply chain experience (distribution, transportation,). 
• Experience managing multi-site operations and private fleet in the heavily regulated healthcare (preferred) or consumer products industries.  Demonstrated path of increasing scope and responsibility.
• Expertise in development and implementation of distribution practices, processes and technology platforms.
• 5+ years of experience as a Director or in a senior managerial role.
• Constructive leader capable of marshalling a distributed field organization and materials management department into a high performing team.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, negotiating, process orientation experience.
• Strategic planning and project management experience.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with past experience marketing/operating third party logistics services (preferred).
• Working knowledge of distribution center real estate management activities.
• Knowledgeable in good manufacturing practices, health and safety, DOT, compliance, and lawsuits/contract disputes.
• Proven change management, execution, and problem solving abilities.
• Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and I through diplomacy and tact.
