• Completion of GPO monthly service level review which includes running 16 service level reports in Business objects or Looker, researching DC out lines for accurate service level reason coding for penalty reduction, applying formulas in excel to check for accuracy of changes, formatting the final customer facing report that will be provided to the key accounts internal GPO contact, submitting credit request to internal credit team.
• Review highly impacted service level items for Key Account (CVS)
• Prepare and provide needed excel documents for CVS, which would include weekly updates and trends on impacted service level items. Is it a Cardinal issue or supplier driven issue causing these impacts to the customer.
• Collaborate with Key Accounts on certain action items that may be needed to improve the overall customer service level.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive ownership and efficient management of the purchase order life cycle (PO creation to receipt). Resolves failures throughout the lifecycle of the purchase order. 
• Manages supplier portfolio to key metrics (DIOH, service level, lead time, etc.). 
• Efficient demand forecasting and incorporates customer/market.
• Maintain purchasing systems parameters for assigned supplier portfolio such as order minimums, order days, lead time, order cycle, etc. 
• Serve as primary Inventory/Purchasing contact for the Supplier and develop long term relationships to continually improve supply chain processes and meet our customer needs. 
• Collaborate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to manage issues, gather relevant data, review performance and drive improvements (ex. Advance Ship Notice and Purchase Orders via EDI). 
• Proactively analyze service failures to mitigate future issues which may include the placement of emergency purchase orders. 
• Managing the release of backordered products into the supply channel. 
• Assist in the execution of new product launches, item replacements (NDC changes), new manufactures.
• Participate and/or leads projects and independently manage project milestones to completion to improve department workflow. 
• Create and maintain product availability messaging via manufacturer backorder reports.
• Identifies opportunities for efficiencies and drives change.

Job Profile Summary
This position will support IT category management around the identification, development, and execution of the sourcing and procurement process. Key areas of support for PSS will include needs analysis, sourcing options, decision support, negotiation support and contract oversight. Additional focus includes cost reduction strategies and overall support and research of category strategies, supplier risk mitigation, and management. This position will be responsible for leveraging market research and performing total cost analyses to support decision making.

This position is expected to lead efforts for a high-performing procurement team in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment, responsible for providing thought leadership and oversight on complex categories of spend. This position will perform duties associated with category management including but not limited to category definition, market intelligence, and development of supplier roadmaps and negotiation strategies. Fosters partnerships with suppliers and critical business stakeholders. This position will also be responsible for escalations pertaining to the facilitation of requirements, and contract drafting and negotiations.
