GI Group Grimsby are currently recruiting for full time yard operatives to work at their clients well established site based in Stallingborough.
The hours of work will be Monday through to Friday and candidates must be available between the hours of 0600 - 1800hrs.

The pay rate for the role is £11.94 per hour, this role is full time on-going.

For the position, you will be trained up to use a hand held terminal scanner which you will use to scan the vehicle through to the yard. You will also be completing vehicle inspection prior to moving the vehicles and report any known damage to your supervisor.

Key Requirements include:


* HGV CLASS 1 License (No more than 6 points for minor speeding offences)
* Min 2 years experience HGV driving required
* Valid CPC and Tacho

The role:

* Trunking to DC's nationwide
* Occasional light handball


Pay rates:

Mon-Fri £17.20 ph

Saturday £21.89 ph

Sunday £24.44 ph


After 12 weeks, the pay rates will increase to:

Mon-Fri £18.20 ph

Saturday £22.89 ph

Sunday £25.44 ph

Job Details: Class 1 Driver

Contract: Ongoing



Key Requirements include:

HGV C+E License (No more than 6 points for minor speeding offences)
Min 12 months experience required
Valid CPC and Tacho

Schedule:

Between 10-14 hours
Varied start times (AM / PM / Nights / Overnights)
£14.30 per hour Monday-Friday / £17 per hour weekends & Bank Holidays
1/2 deliveries / collections
Trunking work available

The Candidate:

- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- Safety focused
- Have at least 1 years experience in a similar role
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
