• Responsible for development, implementation, analysis, and revision of the master production schedule for aircraft maintenance production plan throughputs.
• Implements and controls the master production schedule, to include evaluating lead-time changes, assessing unanticipated materiel/production problems and their impact on existing schedules, controlling priorities and meeting critical milestones.
• Performs studies and projects on issues of productivity, quality, capability, functions and work processes, and the use of manpower to determine whether substantial modification is required to improve the efficiency of the entire production plan.
• Assists the overall scheduling effort through the monitoring of the information contained in applicable maintenance/production/supply data systems.

• Manages the Vehicle control Program and provides program management to ensure supportability.
• Manages the vehicle maintenance and repair program.
• Maintains the Automated Fleet Information System, ensures accountability of vehicles, and provides required
  periodic input to management vehicle points of contact.
• Develops and monitors annual fleet operations and maintenance budgets for both O&M and DMAG submissions for current and out-year submissions.

• Serves as crew chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing maintenance on the aircraft.

• Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up.
• Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials during preparation for flight.

Responsible for the total airworthiness of Aero Club aircraft. Plans, organizes and directs task as required. Assures task are completed within the require time frames and reviews the work of aircraft mechanics to ensure completion. Troubleshoots and determines when the nature and scope of repair can be handled personally or should involve other mechanics; and coordinates their work as necessary. Serves as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and hydralic repairs to Aero Club aircraft. As necessary, grounds the aircraft when the severity of a malfunction warrants, and may be responsible for releasing the aircraft to service after repairs are completed.Performs aircraft inspections including pre-flight, post-flight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections. Tests and checks or oversees such actions by others, with test equipment and standards. Uses all tools of the trade, test equipment, test stands, power sources, cockpit instruments, gauges, and controls in performing assigned duties. Checks all functional and support systems, assess pilot comments, operates the engine(s), and may taxi aircraft. Inspects major system components and parts for defects, serviceability, and proper installation using technical manual and following appropriate inspection procedures. Conducts functional and operational tests and repairs/modifications to ensure proper operation. Attends pre-inspection meetings and coordinates with other functional representatives and offices to insure that scheduled inspections are complete.Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up. Progressively engages or turns on all systems operated by cockpit controls. May taxi aircraft during run-up. Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials identified during preparation for flight. Maintain records of maintenance inspections performed on assigned aircraft as required. Inspects maintenance record entries made by aircraft mechanics to ensure records are accurate and timely. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing. Follows federal and State rules when storing, using, handling, labeling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with environmental standards. Performs clean-up duties such as cleaning equipment, sweeping, straightening, and lining u tools in the assigned area. Instructs Airframe and Powerplant School. Instructs a complete airframe and powerplant certification course. Develops lesson plans based on course requirements. Evaluates student progress. Administers oral and practical exams to students in accordance with FAA guidelines leading to A&P certification.

• Inspects and tests fuel receiving, storage, and distribution facilities and performs preventive maintenance on fuel systems and components.
• Performs all phases of liquid fuel system and component maintenance including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification.

• Participates in cleaning the interior surface of bulk storage tanks, above and below ground, by entering tanks.

• Evaluate performance of assigned base supply SRANs GSD Supply Stock Fund operating programs and individual base-level Supply Stock Fund accounts for adequacy, efficiency and need for improvement.
• Performs GSD Supply Stock Fund budget formulation for annual/multi-year estimates for assigned Supply SRANs into a consolidated Budget Estimate Submission.
• Provides total quality service. Effectively advises management on trends, obligations, credit returns, gross sales, commitments, adjustments to targets, funding shortfalls, issues and concerns, and status of accounts.
