SUMMARY:
Direct and coordinate all plant operations and maintenance within company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and safe working environment; be a safety leader at the plant establish and direct plant policies and procedures; responsible for meeting plant production goals; establish and maintain a positive community relationship; foster and promote a team environment; confer with department heads to ensure coordination of safety purchasing production quality human resources accounting and shipping; responsible for establishing all shift production schedules; select and train plant supervisory and operations staff; conduct employee performance reviews; schedule and conduct plant meetings; responsible for the product quality of the plant; attend scheduled corporate training and meetings; follow all federal state and company regulations for the plant and wastewater; work with customers and suppliers; and all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- Experience: 4 years of plant supervisor, rendering knowledge and experience is recommended, but not required. Direction of plant operations and wastewater knowledge helpful. Experience with data collection and KPIs.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written skills.
- Supervisory: Yes.
- Travel: Not very frequent
