Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognised teaching qualifications i.e., Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or Diploma in Special Education (DISE)
• Relevant experience in teaching MOE Secondary subjects and preparing students for GCE 'N' and 'O' Levels preferred
• Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical-thinking and creativity to develop learning strategies
• Good instructional skills to explain concepts clearly*

Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
• Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.
• To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
• Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
• Support all in-house EHS initatives.

• Drive WSH Awards initiatives and submissions

Requirement:

We are searching for a passionate and engaging Training or L&D Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, delivering courses/trainings and assessing the competencies of our learners. You will play a key role in helping our learners achieve their learning goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the respective industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of training operations from developing courses, enrollment, facilitating the training and assessment sessions, certificate issuance to evaluation.
• Review training policy from time to time.
• Design and develop engaging and effective courses/training programmes for adult learners of different skill levels.
• Conduct courses/training programmes using a variety of instructional methods covering theory or practical skills.
• Ensure the timely submission of training documents from various departments and public learners.
• Engage and interview associate trainers.
• Assess learner competencies through different assessment methods.
• Maintain and update training records or course content.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in adult education.
• Collaborate with various departments to design, develop engaging new courses/training programmes and to improve existing courses/training programmes.
• Application of relevant training grants/claims.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in any field
• WSQ DACE/DDDLP
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in adult education or training delivery preferred
• Strong subject matter expertise in any of the following industries/areas and able to take on at least 2 areas:

1. Retail (e.g Customer Service)
2. Built Environment (e.g. Ducting Installation, Basic Aircon Installation, Maintenance and Repair)
3. Logistics
4. Landscape
5. Security
6. Waste Management
7. Workplace Safety and Health (e.g. Operate Forklift, R32 Safety Awareness)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Ability to develop and deliver courses/training programmes using a variety of instructional methods
• Proficiency in using Training Learning Management Systems (TLMS) a plus
• Proficiency in using BigBlueButton, MS Teams or Zoom a plus
• Knowledge in Training Management System and Canvas Learning Management System a plus.

We’re looking to add an Engineer, R&D (Electronics) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.

As an Engineer, R&D (Electronics), you will:

Responsible for developing and designing the electronics architecture, circuits and systems for meeting future products specifications.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to enhance value for the business and customers.
• Perform system analysis to create optimized design solutions that meet specifications & all regulatory requirements, project timelines, and cost targets.
• Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customer.
• Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Author of specifications, requirements and validation plans for design module assigned.
• Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to development and design in areas such as: Embedded Microprocessor Systems, Medical Product Design, IO Standards and Protocols (e.g., USB, IR, LAN, Bluetooth), Power Electronics (e.g., DC-DC, AC-DC converters), and Analog Technologies (e.g., sensing, signal conditioning).
• Any ad-hoc tasks as requested by the manager.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Possess at least a Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics and small signal analog design.
• Knowledge in PC architecture, High Speed IO Bus protocols (such as DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques and high speed hardware design.
• Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and EMC is an advantage.
• Experience in medical product compliance standard such as ISO13485, is preferred.
• Experience in product development is an advantage.
• Simulation tools & programing skills (eg. PSpice, Python) is added advantage.
• Good knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles.
• Team player with strong passion for product design.
• Overseas travel may be required.
