Position: Production Development Executive (R&D)
Responsibilities:
- Planning and carrying out R&D activities and projects that comply with food regulations as well as the company vision and mission.
- Create and design new recipes to improve food product from the organization in consideration of ideas and market demand for new products and refine taste profiles through experimentation.
- Improve and revise existing product formulations and processes if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
- Conduct sensory and shelf-life evaluation for new and existing product samples.
- Participate in pilot tests and production runs until the commercialization of the new or modified product.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to source alternative ingredients.
- Liaise with supplier for new product samples and documents required, such as quotation, product specification, CoA, Halal Cert and etc.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to keep track of consumer needs and competitors’ performance as well as support sales and marketing team by preparing samples for customer trials.
- Provide technical and labelling information with regulatory compliance to related departments.
- Keep a record of all R&D related documents.
- Assist in kitchen / R&D lab equipment handling, maintenance and calibration.
- Get involved in kitchen / R&D lab activities related to 5'S, safety, inventory control and others.
Requirements:
- Possess Degree or Diploma in Culinary / Food Technology / Food Science and other relevant field.
- Possess strong understanding of cultural and culinary trends with full knowledge of culinary art and able to cook like a chef.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in seasoning, sauce and paste R&D, processing & manufacturing related field with strong knowledge and ability in kitchen / R&D lab management, recipe formulation, food presentation, food safety, food handling and food hygiene.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel, other relevant software and application.
- Able to manage time efficiently, effective in problem- solving, and having positive thinking.
- Possessed strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Familiar with Malaysian Food Regulations and Nutrition Labelling Regulations.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.

要求:
• 拥有烹饪学/食品技术/食品科学和其他相关领域的学位或文凭
• 向助理研发经理汇报工作内容和相关报告详情
• 对烹饪趋势有深入的理解,对烹饪艺术有充分的了解
• 至少 1-2 年调味料、酱料和酱料研发、加工和制造相关领域的工作经验,在厨房/研发实验室管理、配方配方、食品展示、食品安全、食品处理和食品卫生方面具有丰富的知识和能力
• 熟练使用 Microsoft Office 和 Excel、其他相关软件和应用程序
• 能够有效地管理时间,有效地解决问题,并具有积极的思维
• 熟悉马来西亚食品法规和营养标签法规
