The Science Department at Greenwood Academy is committed to a knowledge-rich curriculum and a culture of continuous improvement, where best practices are shared to maintain high standards throughout the academy. We are currently looking for a highly qualified, motivated, and passionate experienced teacher who is dedicated to the success of all students. This role involves teaching Science across a diverse range of ages and abilities, with specific experience in 'A' level being a requirement. As part of our dedicated team of forward-thinking professionals, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. Our curriculum is designed to foster student progress and uphold high expectations across all ability levels.
We want someone who believes that no student should be held back by their economic background and who is passionate about literature and delivering the very best knowledge to our pupils.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player dedicated to delivering excellence in classroom practice. We seek someone with a genuine passion for nurturing the best possible teaching and learning environment. This role requires a commitment to personal and professional development, with a focus on enhancing both subject knowledge and teaching pedagogy, not only for oneself but also for colleagues. Experience in Teaching A-Level Biology; however, all specialisms will be considered.
