What you'll be doing;
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and project goals
- Create visualisations to communicate findings effectively
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data science processes
- Learn and apply best practices in data science methodologies and tools
- Assist in maintaining and updating existing data pipelines and models
What we're looking for;
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling techniques
- Basic understanding of SQL and database management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
