NTi Technology is a subsidiary of NTi Memtech Pte Ltd. We are a technology company specializing in membrane material research and development, membrane product manufacturing, membrane technology applications and services. NTi has its own fully equipped membrane R&D center and manufacturing base in Singapore to produce high-performance hollow fiber membranes.

Currently, we are looking for engineering, science, business and manufacturing interns with interests in membrane marketing, research, product development, and production.

1. Membrane Research Intern:

Responsibilities and duties:

• Support and assist in QC inspections for daily membrane production (lab works).
• Maintain quality-related documentations (soft & hard copy) including SOPs, check lists, reports, etc.
• Support and assist in the testing for new membrane products.
• Assist in the Maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Other related duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Familiar with handling chemicals.
• Strong hands-on capability and independent in performing experiments such as i) general chemical experiments; ii) how to use basic lab equipment like weighing balance, pH meter, pipette and etc; iii) laboratory safety practice. For any other equipment like FTIR, UV-Vis and TOC , they will be trained before they can operate.
• Good understanding of safe lab practice.
• Good written and spoken communication skills. Ability to communicate with equipment and material suppliers/ manufacturers based in China would be advantageous.
• Good team player, self-driven and meticulous.
• Year 3/ Year 4 students are preferred.

Role Responsibilities/Learning Outcome:

• Assist with designing, simulation, experimental work, cell testing, and assembly of cell

• Assist with performing material and electrochemical testing

The Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA), at the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow.

The main theme of fellowship is on "The New Political Economy and Public Governance in a Globalizing Asia", with a focus on China and/or Southeast Asia (Singapore in particular), including ASEAN integration in the contexts of changing geopolitics and the new international political economy, such as the RCEP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Director (Research & Executive Education), NCPA (Professor Liu Hong), who will serve as the primary mentor, and other research staff at NCPA as well as the School of Social Sciences.
• Conduct independent research, develop research proposals, collaborate on projects, and contribute to academic publications.
• Coordinate NCPA's research activities within NTU (including the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Programme) and with external partners.

Job Requirements

• PhD in one of the relevant fields of Asian Studies, international political economy, political science, public policy, or other fields such as sociology, ethnic studies, and global history.
• Interdisciplinary and comparative approach to Asian governance in the context of globalization and new geopolitics is particularly welcome.
• For those working on China and ASEAN context, bilingual capacities (English and Chinese or English and a Southeast Asian language) is essential to facilitate the research process.
• Demonstrated records in publication and research activities in the relevant research themes.
• Preferably with experiences in the Asian region and able to connect area studies with on-going discourses about the international political economy and public governance.

The appointment will be for a period for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance review and budget availability.

Overview:The Project Intern will assist in implementing the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System within a Life Science company. The role supports the regional PPI manager to enhance governance, culture, and key metrics, driving process improvements through various digital technologies and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support key PPI projects focused on process improvement in SG&A functions.
• Assist teams in identifying new projects through process analysis and data evaluation.
• Conduct PPI/LEAN training for leadership and employees as needed.
