- You will serve as a Physical Science Technician in the Radiological Monitoring Division, RADCON Office of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
- You will monitor and control several phases of refueling and primary systems components replacement.
- You will observe nuclear propulsion plant work processes, control radioactive material, and control radiation exposure and radioactive contamination.
- You will ensure appropriate corrective mitigating action is taken in the event of a radiological control casualty situation.
- You will determine causes of deficiencies or accidents and recommend ways to prevent them.
