KEY JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a focused and highly motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic and growing team. This team aims to expedite the novel light-weight and flexible perovskite solar cells for low-weight applications such as portable and wearable devices, BIPV and IoT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Research Engineer specializing in flexible perovskite solar cells, your responsibilities will revolve around conducting research, development, and optimization of this emerging technology. Here are some key job scopes for this position:
· Optimize deposition techniques, such as solution processing, vacuum deposition, or printing methods, to achieve uniform and high-quality perovskite thin films on flexible substrates.
· Investigate new materials, device architectures, and manufacturing methods to improve the overall performance and reliability of flexible perovskite solar cells.
· Investigate encapsulation strategies and barrier materials to protect flexible perovskite solar cells from degradation.
· Design and execute experiments to fabricate and characterize flexible perovskite solar cells.
· Conduct accelerated aging tests and reliability studies to evaluate long-term stability and durability of the devices.
· Scale up procedures from lab-scale to manufacturing scale.
· Conceptualize and realize new device configurations with enhanced stability and efficiency
· Report writing and results presentation
· Regular maintaining of research and study records, conceptualize, execute and interpret scientific experiments
· Work closely with internal colleagues in Singapore and China to work in company target.
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Master, PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry or related fields with in-depth knowledge of materials (especially perovskites), device physics and processing.
· Deep understanding of all kind of perovskite materials and interface engineering. Experience in flexible perovskite solar cells and low-temperature process/deposition is a plus.
· Expertise in device making and materials characterizations.
· Good skills in time management, experiment design and data analysis.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
