Management Level:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

​D Shift Hours- Rotating Days over the month 5pm-5am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The frequency of the following activities may vary according to the requirements of the job task assigned.

·         Assist in utilities maintenance as directed i.e. wastewater

·         Perform all necessary documentation of activities (log entries, leak reports, etc.)

·         May be required to install equipment on all stated utility systems.

·         Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.

·         Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for position.

·         Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Experience  in Electro-Mechanical, or a related field of study.

In lieu of a degree; full degree or related fields that provide experience and exposure or equivalent military education and experience or one or more years of demonstrated experience in  Boiler operation, or maintenance work.

Physical Demands

Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently. Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 10 hrs. Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour required. Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
