About the role

• Managing a team of finance staff in building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior management stakeholders and their teams
• Financial management and regular reporting for the BDU activities and projects
• Driving impact and understanding of business performance, KPI's and key cost drivers of activity, using financial data to inform business strategies
• Being the first point of contact for bids, tenders, and new UK and International partnership opportunities, working closely with the legal teams and tax specialists
• Supporting systems development and process improvement across Finance & Business Services following the implementation of a new accounting system (SAP)

Skills and experience required:

• Must be a qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant (with membership)

Optical Customer Service Advisor - The Role

• Providing optimum levels of customer service by answering enquiries accurately (e.g. regarding pricing, optical lens product availability, lead times etc)
• Listening and developing a professional rapport with the customer so as to take all the necessary action to meet customer needs and provide a unique customer experience
• Receiving orders from customers by telephone, fax or post and processing orders promptly and accurately on an internal system
• Taking a pro-active customer calling approach ensuring our customers are kept up to date at all times
• Recommending and selling product upgrades and promotions to customers by telephone
• Taking an active role in departmental promotions and incentives

Requirements

• Basic practical knowledge of optics (essential)
• Relevant and demonstrable experience in a Customer Service environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel and product / customer databases.
• Ability to process customer demands accurately, in a timely manner.
• Ability to present documents professionally and accurately.
